Translation of the first two Hebrew passages,
which had not yet been sculpted so clearly,
when I edited the German book:

Consciousness is the first step to coping,
the precondition to choosing.
If it were not for their consciousness of mutual dependency
and mutual guarantorship between human beings,
Israel would not have continued to exist as a nation.

The systems of mutual dependency are arranged in three circles:
between a man and his fellow,
between the individual and his community
and between each human and all humankind.

Israel's Sages were so busy with the middle system
- the individual and his community
- that they usually were unaware of the fact,
that this system could not be cut off from the two other systems.

It is fitting, that I could squirm myself towards this understanding not in a linear way.
And so now - on Yom-Kippur 2013 - on the 17th FELT day of the next 15 FELT years,
  I want to collect, harvest and savor the fruits as they ripened - as - insights-in-stages,
just like the fruits of my pomegranate-tree have been ripening since July 11 till now!

Moses failed
in the "delicate dance
between creation and surrender"

You should have flown with the water
and walked "humbly with your God!"
This demand [Micah 6:8], a motto of Kiss-log 2008,
is addressed to Moses as to me!
It means:
attune your pace with the world
to the pace of "God" with the World.

The hanging copper-lamp above,
with a chain of acorns,
a self-made gift by starchild Tzippi
in my first year at Arad (since Dec. 2004)

and the standing copper-lamp on the desk,
with a chain of wooden pearls,
Efrat's gift from some foreign country
are worthy neighbors
of the rock of the spring....

A new composition in my room :
- Mika's blessings
floating on the table by chance,
- the teddy-bear ,
one of 3 sweet gifts from my landlords,
with a paper-crown made by Mika,

to the right above
another one of their 3 gifts:
a chocolate-rose

and then in the center:
the rock-of-the-spring,
or the spring-of-the rock,
which is now flowing
from the moment I wake up
till the moment I put off the light,
and sometimes,
when - the always changing-
gurgling sound does not disturb me,
also through the night.

The heat of the day during this season
causes the water to evaporate so much,
that I have to fill the basin every 4 hours.

When Micha came today, he asked me about the rockspring.
"I have many experiences with it, some technical (I explained),
some symbolic, concerning two favorite passages in the Bible".
I knew he didn't want to hear about those, but he gave me a gift:
"What it reminds me of, is the rose of "The Little Prince":
It has to be watered all the time!"

And I thought of how often I wonder about plants in my garden:
if I wouldn't have to tend them day after day, as long as I live here,
I wouldn't enjoy them so much, despite my irritation some times,
"that I'll never get it done". (see the ditty I came across today:
"you will never get it done and you can never get it wrong".)
How often did I myself think of the words of the fox to "The Little Prince":
"It's because of the need to tend your rose, that it is so dear to you."

That child-raising is difficult, is an old wisdom,
but it's exactly the bothering, the worrying, yes the suffering,
which makes children so precious to their parents.

An hour after Micha had left
not without bringing me to the Grave of Grace with my 8 liters of water...
I opened 3 e-mails from Elah -
one about a man in her neighborhood, who still uses an old sewing-machine,
to which I associated Ra'ayah's sewing-work for me today (see)
and another coincidence:
in the right frame of Elah's Facebook I see even 2 images of "The Little Prince"

Do both gurgling and babbling fit in the above and convey the same idea to you?"

Someone answers:
"They do leave a similar impression. .. when I hear "babbling"
I think more of the splashing sound of water against rocks.
To me, "gurgle" is a more purely liquid sound.
When molasses pours from the mouth of a jug, it "gurgles"."

To this the person above responds:
"Our views seem to be one here.
"Babbling" would be louder than "gurgling"
unless the gurgling was unusually loud for some reason.
"Babbling" is the sound, generally soft, of water moving over pebbles and rocks. "Gurgling" is what you hear
when any liquid pours out of a bottle while making a soft, liquid sound.

"EX: Try dumping liquid out of a plastic bottle, holding it straight down.
It "gurgles" as it comes out.
If you put a small hole in the bottom, it will pour out smoothly.
Same principle is happening with your drains."
Other answers:
"... plumbing fixtures gurgle and drain slowly ..
because the plumbing system is not drawing enough air
this causes a type of vacuum...
A plumbing sytem needs to draw air when draining or flushing."
