While coming back to this page,
after 3 intense hours with two rare guests,
Amy (60) from Arizona,
who writes a book about the women in the life of Franz Rosenzweig, and Or (36) from Haifa,
who writes his Ph.D. about Franz Rosenzweig and the Hebrew Bible,
I see, that one of the few sentences I said about myself
(i.e. not about Franz, Edith and Rafael Rosenzweig) was:
"I know that I created the circumstances in my life in a way,
that I would have to experience 40 years of victimhood -
so that I would be able to understand humans,
for 95% of them are feeling victims;
i.e. I gave the same kind of meaning to my suffering
as did the Sages to the suffering of the slaves in Egypt,
who were to become "Israel" for humankind.
[Reading on, I see that Rabbi suffered from his teeth as I do now,
and from his bladder, as I did again and again for 3 decades until recently]
