joy: I was guided to re-discover my sculpture about releasing
righteousness in the Intro to
Kisslog. It was then, that
I remembered the New Testament words "der Suende abgestorben"
(Luther's translation) and found it in
Greek-English: "dead to sins"
I
desire to turn around the Christian belief which has dictated
my feelings for too long:
instead
of "... ...that we being dead to sins should live unto
righteousness"
I
desire to believe that if I am dead to righteousness, I am whole
and free to live and to love,
righteousness in its double
aspect: "flaw-less-ness"
and "shadow-less-ness".
Though I'll never deny the pain about a flaw, nor the despair
about a shadow cast by my light,
but vibrate
pain or despair ~~~~~~~~~ , I desire to trust, that both,
flaw and shadow,
will find their functions in the multitude of voices in the

My Body, my Partner,
my God
I give thanks to all the organs and mechanisms in our throat
and mouth,
which allow me to speak 5-6 syllables in a second,
and to the brain which remembers - as I can explore also with
Mika -
how to express a thought, a word, a syllable, a vowel, a consonant.
It is spectacular to become aware of the sophistication of
your functioning!
I'm grate-full for the immense opportunities to learn nowadays.
But as much as I missed this in my childhood,
[Until the age of 8 ,we 3 children had
only one book...
At the age of 9 - when books were the most precious things
for me,
and the greatest joy was, when a schoolmate borrowed me a
book,
I was afraid, what I would do,
after I would have read all the books in the world!
But the first library (for grownups) which my mother sent
me to at the age of 12
was disappointing - "how come that not all books are
interesting"???]
I am grate-full that I was not overwhelmed with learning possibilities,
but had to use my frustration in order to read "into
depth"....

16 Silben pro Sekunde sind theoretisch die
maximale Sprechgeschwindigkeit, ...: Am 15. Januar 2005 hat Ricky
Brown in 51,27 Sekunden 723 Silben gerappt. Begrenzende
Faktoren sind zum einen das Gehirn, das die Silben erst einmal
formen muss, zum anderen ist es der Aufbau der Zunge aus weißen
und roten Muskeln. Weiße Fasern
sind schnell, ermüden aber schnell, rote Fasern sind langsamer.
Doch wegen ihres erhöhten Gehalts an Hämoglobin sind
sie ausdauernder und darum für das Sprechen wichtiger. Bei
Neugeborenen besteht wie bei Affen die Zunge zunächst vor
allem aus weißen Fasern. Der
Grund ist evolutionär, ist die Zunge doch bei Wirbeltieren
nicht zum Sprechen, sondern vor allen für Nahrungsaufnahme
vorgesehen.
Die Zunge trainiert, das Gehirn bremst
die Silbenzahl aus
Hier sind die schnelleren weißen Muskeln von Vorteil. Schon
im Laufe der ersten Lebensjahre werden Kinder dazu genötigt,
Kommunikation zu betreiben. Die weißen Fasern beginnen deshalb,
sich in rote zu verwandeln. Bald erhöht sich ihr Anteil auf
50 Prozent. Das Gehirn stellt normalerweise
nur bis zu fünf Silben pro Sekunde zur Verfügung: Die
gewünschte Aussage baut sie als Sequenz von Bildern. Das
Sprachzentrum setzt diese in Einzelwörter und Redewendungen
um und verknüpft sie.
Geübte Sprecher können
bis zu neun Silben artikulieren, weil das Gehirn häufige
Redewendungen und Sätze abspeichert. Beim
Lesen eines Textes entfällt
das Suchen nach Worten, das Sprechtempo kann zwölf Silben
erreichen.
Stimmbänder erzeugen Töne und bestimmen die Frequenz
Die Stimmbänder im Inneren des Kehlkopf erzeugen die Töne.
Sie schwingen wie die Saiten eines Klaviers. Um die Stimme zu
variieren, kippt der vordere Teil des Kehlkopfs nach vorn und
dehnt die Bänder. Spannung und Entspannung verändern
dann die Tonhöhe innerhalb der Möglichkeiten. Die Stimmbänder
sind die inneren zarten Ränder der größeren Stimmlippen.
Sobald Atemluft gezielt durch den Schlitz gepumpt wird, beginnen
sie zu schwingen. Bei Frauen schwingen
die Stimmbänder beim Sprechen etwa zweihundert mal pro Sekunde,
sie haben 200 Hertz. Profi-Sängerinnen schaffen allerdings
bis zum Siebenfachen, 1400 Hertz.
Je besser eine Stimme trainiert ist, desto größer wird
ihr Umfang. Beim Mann bildet sich nach dem Stimmbruch der Adamsapfel
heraus. So haben die längeren Stimmbänder ausreichend
Platz. Für den Stimmbruch ist das Geschlechtshormon Testosteron
verantwortlich, das im Hoden produziert wird. Es lässt den
Kehlkopf größer werden und die Stimmlippen wachsen.
Die Stimmlippen werden bei Jungen bis zu einem Zentimeter länger,
etwas dicker und schwingen dadurch beim Sprechen etwas langsamer.
Dadurch wird in der Pubertät zwischen dem 10. und 15. Lebensjahr
die Stimme rau, heiser und instabil. Die Stimmlippen wachsen oft
ungleichmäßig, so dass eine der beiden Stimmlippen
kurzzeitig länger ist. Deshalb hören sich die produzierten
Töne schräg an. Während des Wachstums wechselt
die Stimme in eine um acht Töne (eine Oktave) tiefere Tonlage.
Bis zu einem Jahr kann der natürliche Stimmwechsel während
der Pubertät dauern. Aber erst im Alter von 25 bis 30 Jahren
ist die männliche Stimme voll ausgewachsen.

Um das zu prüfen, haben Mediziner der Schweizer Augenklinik
Pallas ihre Sehtafel in einer Entfernung von 730 Metern aufgehängt.
Normale Sehtafeln sind dazu nicht geeignet, weil sie maximal
eine Sehkraft von 125 ermitteln können. Mit 320 Prozent
könnte man Gesichter aus 300 Metern erkennen und deren
Mimik in 100 Metern Entfernung. Bei dem Schweizer Versuch mit
50 Probanden erreichte ein Kandidat immerhin schon 250 Prozent.
Zehn Kilo Nahrung können Menschen auf
einmal essen
Ein Mensch kann - theoretisch - maximal zehn Kilo Essen aufnehmen.
Zwei Liter davon kann er in den Darm packen, sechs in den Magen.
Damit ist dessen Dehnungsgrenze aber erreicht. Der Körper
verfügt nicht über Sättigungssensoren, die die
Kalorien des Essens zählen, sondern registriert nur die
Dehnung der Magenwand. Sensoren an der Außenseite registrieren
das Ausmaß der Dehnung, wenn das Magenvolumen 1,5 Liter
erreicht, und senden Nervenimpulse ans Gehirn.
Wir reagieren umso schneller, je weniger
das Gehirn tut
Reaktionen, an denen das Gehirn beteiligt ist, benötigen
zehn Mal mehr Zeit als die über Reflexbögen, die das
Gehirn umgehen und ihre Signale direkt an die Muskeln schicken,
ohne unser Denkzentrum zu behelligen. Bewusste
Reaktionen benötigen bis zu 30 hundertstel Sekunden, Reflexbögen
nur 3. Auf Bedrohungen wie einen Knall, Lichtblitz oder Nadelstich
reagieren dagegen alle Menschen gleich schnell, weil diese unseren
spontanen Reflexe ansprechen.
Ein ruhender Kopf erlaubt Pirouetten
auch stundenlang
Eiskunstläufer können stundenlang Pirouetten drehen,
weil sie das Gehirn überlisten und den Kopf ruhig halten:
Ihre Augen fixieren einen fest stehenden Punkt in der Ferne
und der Kopf macht die Drehung nicht mit. Übel wird einem
bei Drehungen erst dadurch, dass Augen, Muskeln und Gleichgewichtsorgan
dem Gehirn unterschiedliche Informationen bieten: Das Gleichgewichtsorgan
wähnt sich bei konstanter Drehung in Ruhe, während
Augen und Muskeln von der Bewegung wissen. See

Bis zu 19 Grad Außentemperatur kann ein Mensch aushalten,
ohne dass seine Körpertemperatur zu stark zu sinken beginnt.
Liegen die Temperaturen länger darunter, wird es allerdings
gefährlich. Jeder Mensch erzeugt durch seine Muskelbewegungen
in Ruhe so viel Wärmeenergie wie eine 80-Watt-Glühbirne
und kann somit bei 28 Grad Außentemperatur seine Körpertemperatur
von 37 Grad Celsius problemlos halten. Mit leichten
Aufwärmbewegungen kann man seine Wärmeleistung vervierfachen.
Der Körper hält Streicheln
nur begrenzt lange
aus
Betrachtet man das Gestreicheltwerden aus einer erotischen
Sicht, kann man das sieben Stunden lang genießen - körpereigene
Opiate verhindern dann nämlich den Schmerz, der sich sonst

Es befindet sich viel Prolaktin in ihrem Blut, ein Hormon, das

All her life savta loved to do one thing:
to photograph.
Every meeting between us and her
starts with hugs
and continues to photographs,
and everything -
but really everything -
is documented -
on her web site or image folders,
and usually not pictures of herself-
but... her pictures.
Yes, savta is the family paparazzo,
therefore - to find pictures of her,
on which she appears herself,
this was not an easy task -
but we found such,
and in the end even a lot.
They say,
