I focus my experiencing and awareness on being
"a pioneer of Evolution in
learning to feel":
I let my Body vibrate and my Heart 'womb'
pain, shame, fear, boredom, powerlessness,
so feelings can >heal >guide>fulfill>evolve,
and ~~~ offer ~~~"goldmines"~~~ to us all!! "I
want you to feel everything, every little thing!"

It doesn't mean that I have to let go rightaway of being available
in the cave or of making pathes to it,
or of playing and painting with those children and young shepherds
who enjoy "the Cave of the Womb",
unless I see another option.
It means, that I have to let go of security and certainty,
and make myself flexible and free and available
for any new, more efficient or beneficial being or acting.
Lo! Allah
changeth not the condition of a folk
until they change that which is in themselves. [Qur'an, Sura "The Thunder",
13:13]
The water pipe-line Arad-Masada
runs parallel to the road Arad-Kfar-ha-Nokdom - Masada.
At Kfar-ha-Nokdim there is a tap, from where the Bedouins of the Zealots'
Valley are allowed to take water (and pay for it).
Somewhere around the bend of the road is the spot, where my path to the
Cave-of-the-Womb begins.

(21): SELF-ACCEPTANCEversus SELF-SACRIFICE
This was, after the Romans had conquered the Land
and destroyed the Temple already two years earlier,
[which - by the way - was - to a great part -
the making of those Jewish terrorists...
at least, that is how not only the Roman-loyal Jew Josephus,
but also Israel's Sages perceived them:
(see my
book and the metaphoric story
about the "final" terrorist,
Bar-Kochba, or "Bar-Koziba", "the Deceiver"
]
It doesn't matter,
that comparing the myth with Josephus Flavius' account
as well as archeological excavations
prove the myth wrong.
[See the
Hebrew article by Nachman ben Yehuda,
based on his book: The Masada Myth:
Collective Memory and Mythmaking in Israel
,
University of Wisconsin Press, 1995]
What matters is,
that countless Israeli soldiers were "sworn in" on Masada,
not to talk about the youth movements and ...
How deeply ingrained in our genes
is the yearning for self-sacrifice.
And I - in my childhood and youth -
such an ardent follower of "the Cross"
and the one who let himself be sacrificed on it -
am not free of this yearning.
Working now in the so-called "Zealots'
Valley",
opposite the "Zealots' Mountain",
some 12 km west of Masada,
I know,
that as long as "Masada" is not healed,
we, the Jewish people in particular
and humankind in general,
will continue to indulge in victimhood
and - worse - in self-sacrifice.
"Ancient
fortress and national symbol for Israel. Masada has a legendary status in
Israeli mentality.
Here the fight for Israeli and Jewish independence
was fought with such a strength and fidelity
that the people taking this as their last resort,
chose to die rather than surrender to the Romans.
With the fall of Masada in year 73 CE,
the state of Israel came to an end for a period of almost 1,900
years."
From
the official site of
the Department for Jewish Zionist Education "Today Masada
is not only a tourist attraction -- with a cable-car to the top
---
but a source of inspiration and a symbol of courage to all Israelis.
Every year, on that isolated rock,
recruits to Israel's armored corps swear their oath of allegiance:
"Masada shall not fall again!""
Masada has become
the symbol of the determination of a people
to be free in its own land.
After two thousand years,
the sacrifice of Eleazar ben Ya'ir and his comrades
remains a reminder of the love of freedom
which is as important to the Jewish nation today
as it was in that bygone era."
It
is worthwhile to look at the larger context on another site, Josephus Flavius, The Wars Of The
Jews
Or
The History of the Destruction of Jerusalem
Book VII , Book VII, ch. 8 and 9
which starts with a sentence,
where the people on Masada are called - not even "Zealots"
(Qanna'im)
but "Sicarii",
"....the
Roman general came,
and led his army against Eleazar
and those Sicarii
who held the fortress Masada together with him"
The Sicarii were those Jews who hid a knife under their
garment
and while walking around the streets and markets of Jerusalem,
suddenly struck at their - Jewish - enemies, killing them
and then feigning participation in the mourning about the victims.
"Nor
did Yadin own up to the dark side of Masada's defenders.
According to Josephus,
the rebels belonged to a Jewish sect known as the Sicarii,
from the Greek word for dagger.
During the battle for Jerusalem,
they had gained notoriety for killing not just Romans but
also moderate Jews--
whom they viewed as collaborators.
Josephus also wrote that Masada's Sicarii
massacred over 700 women and children
in the nearby town of Ein Gedi. Yet Yadin described the
rebels as defenders or patriots."
As
for Masada, Nachman Ben-Yehuda doesn't deny the power of the
place.
But for him, it is no longer a symbol of courageous resolve
but a cautionary tale of the consequences of extremism:
"Never get trapped on a mountain with
no good options," he says.
"Instead, make alliances; negotiate your way."

Below I'm inserting the Third
Continuation
of "My Visit to the Cave of the Womb"
on 2011_01_01
A fragment of the mosaic or puzzle of broken tiles, which I created in
the Cave of the Womb this time!
One
last time I'm looking out from the Cave of the Womb, towards the South,
across the stage,
when once young Yusuf and his (not loved) neighbor boy' Eid, danced together....
On my way back, up to the road,
I again stumble over stones and rocks,
until I finally reach a segment of my former path:
Another
short segment of the path
No path, but untouched Desert beauty towards the
West
When I reached the "junction" between
my path and the road,
I decided to restore the rujum of stones which calls for attention
to what is written on the rail in three languages:
Cave of the Womb
I managed to roll up 3 heavy stones from below the slope.
In the center I stuck a stick I had found,
combined with Yusuf's "whip".
When will the time come for a "pregnancy" in the Cave of the
Womb?
And will it be Hathra
and Yusuf, with
their parents Samira and Yahia,
who will be self-dependent pioneers ~~~with no need for me, Maryam?
Cornelia wrote - when, on Dec. 27, she cancelled
our meeting in the Cave:
Ich habe ein tiefes Vertrauen, dass die Beduinen ein Segen sind für
Israel
und dass Hathra ihren Weg gehen wird.
Die Beduinen tragen das gesamte Wissen des Universums in sich.
I trust, that the Bedouins are a blessing for Israel,
and that Hathra will find her way.
The Bedouins carry the entire knowledge of the universe in themselves.
When I opened my e-mail, in order to find Cornelia's
saying,
I saw the daily gift from Qwiki
and in it a double message for me:
"Rolling Stones"
[the stones which I had rolled upward...?]
and:
"Don't give up.
You are a big, bright shining star!"
