The
Purpose of HEALING - K.I.S.S.
- as stated 12 years ago - was and is
to help me and my potential P E E R s
"to HEAL ourselves into WHOLEness,
and - by extension - all of CREATion!" |
|
I focus my experiencing and awareness on being
"a pioneer of Evolution
in learning to feel":
I let my Body vibrate and my Heart 'womb'
pain, shame, fear, boredom, powerlessness,
so feelings can >heal >guide>fulfill>evolve,
and ~~~ offer ~~~"goldmines"~~~ to us all!!
"I
want you to feel everything, every little thing!"

P E R E T Z - TAMAR'S SON
There are strikingly paradoxical meanings
to Peretz,
the name of the founder of the messianic genealogy.
And
I sought for a man among them,
that should hedge [repair] the hedge,
and stand in the breach before me
for the land,
that I should not destroy it:
but I found none.
[Ez
22 :30]
|
|
"and thou
shalt be called:
The hedger [repairer]
of the breach
The restorer of paths
to sit in."
[Js
58:12}
|
|
He will be the one, who "stands in the
breach", for whom God has been searching so ardently,
like Jehuda, growing into leadership, stood in the breach, when his
brothers wanted to kill Josef,
and like Jehuda, becoming the leader, stood in the breach, when Josef
wanted to imprison Benjamin.
"Megilat"
TAMAR
But there is implied also the opposite meaning, the
causing of the breach!
"Now it was, at the time of her birthing,
that here: twins were in her body!
And it was, as she was giving birth, that (one of them) put out a
hand;
the midwife took and tied a scarlet thread on his hand, saying:
This one came out first.
But it was, as he pulled back his hand, here, his brother came out!
So she said;
What a breach you have breached for yourself!
So they called his name Peretz/Breach.
Afterward his brother came out, on whose hand was the scarlet thread.
They called his name Zerah."
[Gn
38:27-30]
To put it stronger than Fox
in his translation of Genesis,
I would translate:
why did you break-through on yourself
a break-through ?
why did you burst-forth on yourself a burst-forth?
For I am sure, this strange question to a
newborn wants to associate the anger of David against God
that YHWH had burst-forth,
a bursting-out against Uzza,
so he called the place: Peretz Uzza/Bursting-Out (at) Uzza.
[2.Samuel
6:12]
This "Peretz-incident"
can only be understood in its entire context, 2.Samuel
6
the "bringing-home" of the so-called "Ark of the Covenant",
or "Coffer of God", to David's Jerusalem,
a context, from which the Tamar Scroll and the Rut-Scroll picked out
more than one symbol.
The Coffer - the central part of the Tent of Appointment in the Desert
- had been carried away by the Philistines,
and - after they returned it - it stayed in "Kiryat Yearim"
for 20 years,
a place/person which the Chronicler connects to the place/person Bethlehem
- and Efrat .
The home-bringing of the Coffer consolidated David's dominion over
all the 12 tribes of Israel in Jerusalem.
Phillip
Ratner
King David is at its peak,
dancing, swirling in the streets, exposing himself without defenses,
whole with himself, whole with the people and whole with God,
before he will stumble into the Uriyya-Bat-Sheva crime and fall into
the abyss...
2.Samuel
6 [1.
Chronicles 13]
And David arose
... to bring-up from there the Coffer of God,
over which was called there
the Name of YHWH of the Heavenly-armies,
(who is ) Seated (upon) the Winged-Sphinxes.
they mounted the Coffer of God on a new wagon
and transported it from the house of Avinadav, that is in
Giv'a
....
And David and the whole house of Israel
were dancing in the presence of YHWH,
with all the fir-wood-instruments,
"with all their might and with songs"
(1. Chron. 13:8)
with lyres and lutes and timbrels,
with rattles and with cymbals.
But when they
came to the threshing-floor of Nakhon,
Uzza stretched out (his hand) to the Coffer of God and held-it-steady,
for the oxen had let (it) slip.
And YHWH's anger flared-up at Uzza,
God struck-him-down there because of his carelessness,
so that he died there,
beside the Coffer of God.
and David was upset over (the fact) that YHWH had burst-forth,
a bursting-out against Uzza,
so he called the place:
Peretz Uzza/Bursting-Out (at) Uzza,
until this (very ) day.l
|
|
As is clear from the other connotations to
"Peretz",
there could be a double meaning to it: a violent bursting-out or bursting-forth
but also a "break-through".
In any case, David does not feel ready to be in the presence of the
electrifying Coffer
and waits, until the Coffer "modifies its behavior" in the
presence of a double foreigner:
And David was fearful of YHWH on that day,
he said:
How will the Coffer of YHWH (ever) come to me?
And David would not remove the Coffer of YHWH from him to the
City of David,
so David turned it aside to the house of Oved-Edom
the Gittite.
The Coffer stayed at the house of Oved-Edom
the Gittite for three months,
and YHWH blessed Oved-Edom
and all his household.
And it was told to King David, saying;
YHWH has blessed the house of Oved-Edom
and all that is his, on account of the Coffer of God;
so David went and brought-up the Coffer of God from the house
of Oved-Edom to the city of David,
with rejoicing.
|
I guess,
that it is from this event,
that the author of Megilat-Rut
adopted the name "Oved"
as the name of Rut's son,
that is
as the name of David's grandfather.
Five time in so short a passage
Oved-Edom is mentioned.
"Oved" may refer to Kayyin,
the worker/server of the land.
Edomite, of course, are foreigners,
and so are Gittites, people from Gat,
that is - Philistines.
Edom is in the east of Israel,
Gat is in the west, towards the sea.
All this implied in the message
of Rut the Moabite,
the greatgrandmother of David.

The artist Schwebel
in Fox' translation of the
books of Samuel
adds to his second image of "King David leaping and whirling
":
November 95
David whirls in front of Deportation Trains
and the Wire of Concentration Camps.
He's got to do that for us, breakup the horror,
if he's the man we believe him to be . |
And
it was,
when those transporting the Coffer of YHWH had stepped-forward
six steps,
he offered-up an ox and a fatling.
Now David was whirling with all (his)
might
in the presence of YHWH;
David was girded with an efod of linen.
David and all the house of Israel
were bringing-up the Coffer of YHWH
with shouting and with the sound of the shofar.
and it was, (as) the Coffer of YHWH was coming into the city
of David;

Mikhal daughter of Sha'ul
was looking out through the window;
when she saw King David
leaping and whirling
in the presence of
YHWH,
she despised him in her heart.
|
They
brought the Coffer of YHWH
and set it in its place, in the midst of the tent that David
had spread-out for it.
[after offerings to God] he
blessed the people in the name of YHWH of the Heavenly-Armies,
and he divided up (food) for the whole people, for the whole
throng of Israel, from man to woman,
-for each-one: one cake of bread, one roll, and one raisin-cake.
Then all the people went off, each-one to his house... |
|
When David
returned to bless his household,
Mikhal daughter of Sha'ul went out to meet David
and said:
How
he has gotten-honor today, the king of Israel,
who has exposed himself today before the eyes of his servants'
(own) maids-
like one of (those) empty-men exposes-himself!
David said to Mikhal:
In the presence of YHWH, who chose me over your father
and over all his house,
to commission me as Prince over the people of YHWH, over Israel:
I'll dance in the presence
of YHWH,
and will hold-myself-lightly (even) more than this;
I'll be lowly in my (own) eyes -
with the (very) maids of whom you spoke,
with them I'll get honor!
And Mikhal daughter of Sha'ul had no child until the day of
her death.
