The
Purpose of HEALING - K.I.S.S.
- as stated 12 years ago - was and is
to help me and my potential P E E R s
"to HEAL ourselves into WHOLEness,
and - by extension - all of CREATion!" |
|
I focus my experiencing and awareness on being
"a pioneer of Evolution
in learning to feel":
I let my Body vibrate and my Heart 'womb'
pain, shame, fear, boredom, powerlessness,
so feelings can >heal >guide>fulfill>evolve,
and ~~~ offer ~~~"goldmines"~~~ to us all!!
"I
want you to feel everything, every little thing!"

"Megilat" - T A M A R
Second
Page
"When
Yehuda saw her, he took her for a whore, for she had covered
her face.
So he turned aside to her by the road and said:
Come-now, pray let me come in to you -
for he did not know
that she was his daughter-in-law.
She said;
What will you give me for coming into me?
He said:
I myself will send out a goat kid from the flock.
|
|
|
"She
said: Only if you give me a pledge, until you send it.
He said: What is the pledge that I am go give you?
She said: Your seal, your cord, and your staff that is in your
hand.
He gave them to her and then he came in to her -"

"and she became pregnant by him.
She arose and went away,
then she put off her veil from her
and clothed herself in her widow's garments.
"Now when Yehuda sent the goat kid
by the hand of his friend the Adullamite,
to fetch the pledge from the woman's hand,
he could not find her.
He asked the people of her place, saying:
Where is that holy-prostitute, the one in Two-wells by the
road?
"They said:
There has been no holy-prostitute [Qedeshah] here!
Yehuda said;
Let her keep them for herself, lest we become a laughing-stock.
Here, I sent her this kid but you, you could not find her.
"Now it was, after almost three New-Moons
that Yehuda was told, saying:
"Tamar your daughter-in-law has played-the-whore,
in fact, she has become pregnant from whoring!
"Yehuda said;
bring her out and let her be burned!"
|
That was, what should have happened
to Uriyya's wife , Bat-Sheva!
"Megilat"
Bat-Sheva and The
Bible of Feelings
"Luckily" King David took responsibility for the pregnancy.
But instead of letting the woman be burnt, he sent her husband to
death.
"(but) as she was being brought out,
she sent a message to her father-in-law, saying:
by the man to whom these belong I am pregnant.
And she said;
Pray recognize-
whose seal and cords and staff are these?
Yehuda recognized them
and said;
She is in-the-right more than I!
For after all, I did not give her to Shela my son!
And he did not know her again.
"Now it was, at the time of her birthing, that here:
twins were in her body!
And it was, as she was giving birth,
that (one of them) put out a hand;
the midwife took and tied a scarlet thread on his hand, saying:
This one came out first.
But it was, as he pulled back
his hand, here, his brother came out!
So she said;
"What a breach you have breached for yourself!
So they called his name; Peretz/Breach.
[See Peretz]
Afterward his brother came out,
on whose hand was the scarlet thread.
They called his name Zerah.

It strikes
me,
how the author of "Megilat"-Tamar redeems both characters,
that of David and that of Bat-Sheva.
Tamar is, from the start,
the opposite of this nothingness called Bat-Sheva,
but Yehuda truly is growing towards the "tikkun"
with Yosef,
that awaits him in Egypt.
Immediately
after
"they called his name: Zerah", follows:
"Now when Yosef was brought
down to Egypt.... "[Gn
39:1]

Tamar and her twins were
- like so many other details in "Megilat-Tamar"
shaped according to an ancient story, or more exact "parable",
Rivka and her babies, Ya'aqov and Esau [Phillip
Ratner]

"Megilat"-Tamar
is the story of a woman,
a story that symbolizes
and a woman who symbolizes
what redemption means:
SELF-ACCEPTANCE
of the light in me and of the shadow in me,
of the king in me and of the murderer in me,
of the poet in me and of the adulterer in me,
of the whore in me and of the mother in me,
of the Jew in me and of the Canaanite in me.

There
was only one Moshe, only one person with this name,
though Moshe's deepest yearning expressed itself,
when Joshua encountered two people "who acted-like-prophets"
and projected his "Kayin"
= feeling not worthy , not equal, on Moshe:
"My lord Moshe,
contain them (or
stronger:) imprison them!"
It was then, that Moshe, who often felt inadaquate, rose to
his full stature:
"Are you jealous for me?
O who would give that all the people of YHWH were prophets,
that YHWH would put the rush-of-his-spirit upon them!"
[Numeri
11:27-29] -
quoted often on Healing-K.i.s.s., e.g. in "bio-testimony-4"
Except for Tamar, who needed to bear the name of David's daughter,
according to the message of the Tamar-"Scroll",
all "relevant" names in the Bible appear only once.
"Relevant" is not the same as "important".
Josef was important, but there are many Josefs in the Bible...
As to Moses, see My
Life's Testimony to my Life's Learning,
especially the
completion of that sculpture
with words and images. |
Opening that last page, I was surprised to
remember what appears as an inspiring story
like that of a daughter-in-law and a mother-in-law (Rut-Naomi)
and unlike that of a daughter-in-law and a father-in-law (Tamar and
Yehuda)
There was an enviable relationship between a son-in-law and a father-in-law:
Moses and the Bedouin Sheikh and Priest Yitro/Hovav/Re'uel [see
more!]
It is definitely not by chance,
that "Megilat"-Tamar was inserted
between Yehuda's saving his brother's life,
by persuading his brothers,
to sell Josef into slavery instead of killing him,
and the following drama, which forces him
"to stand in the breach" and pledge for Binyamin.
[Efraim
& Efrat]
Indeed, the word "pledge"
in the negotiation between Yehuda and "the whore"
is the very term,
which Yehuda uses
in his negotiation with his father Ya'acov
and later , in Egypt, with the not-recognized Yosef.
Both Yosef and Tamar could not be recognized by him,
another feature combining the two Yehuda-stories...

There is still much to discover and to understand...
