In the new home of Shoham
See
also Tomer's involvment in beautifying his room
in the new flat
"Take a photo"
of us, demands Mika, while she stands in the new kitchen with her
old friend Gal
While Mika's room is still in chaos,
I prepare a drawing-place for her in my own room.
Where?
It had turned out that there was no TV connection in this room,
and while Immanuel - amidst all the other problems - tried to figure
out a solution,
I heard myself stating loud and clearly:
"It means, that I'm not supposed to have
TV set in my room in Shoham!"
That's why the pretty, old drawyer which they acquired for my room
only last year,
can now serve as a desk on which paper and colors will always be ready
for Mika to be used:
an old drawyer for new drawings...
As to TV - on Sept.29 a movie in 3SAT was announced, which was of
great interest for me:
"Liebe fuer Fortgeschrittene" - "Love for advanced
people" (Germany-Austria 2007-08).
I had the chance to see it in the living-room, not disturbing anyone
at that specific hour.
Just when I wrote this - the next day - I remembered that a repetition
was announced,
which had started just 3 min. ago - so I allowed myself to watch the
movie once more,
despite the upheaval, which caused Rihaam's cleaning the living-room
all around me just then.
It's a movie about people of different sex and status standing up
against an oppressive woman!

"The prettiest window in the house",
says Immanuel,
And Mika: "You see these hearts? It says that this is the room
of Mika and Savta!"
Yes, the open iron hearts and the caterpillar on the glass and the
geranium behind
and our talk about transformation from caterpillars to butterflies
and Mika's training herself in drawing the latter....
.
One of the close parks is "Zohar Garden"
by Mika also called "Do'ar Garden", since some 5000 mail-boxes
of the Yuvalim neighborhood are accumulated there.
It's after sunset, when the two little girls swing - parallel to each
other - with me standing between them and helping.
"What are
you doing in your parent's bedroom?" I asked
"I'm ordering their bed! It should be a
surprise for them!"
And she pulls and drags and tucks the unwieldy sheet...
Yom Kippur is the Day of Biking.
All the roads and streets are free.
No car -except if needed an ambulance
would dare to spoil the childrens' feast.
After we had passed by several synagogues
with ever so many white-dressed people flocking to them
and roamed through streets, which were not too dangerous for Mika's
training of driving grandpa Victor's bike,
we reached a round asphalted place, where - in 2000 - already Tomer
(then 6) had trained with his skate-boards.
And there, among many children, we rightaway - meet Galli again, on
a baby bike, guided by her grandmother.
When we - father, daughter, grandma
- return home,
Imma exclaims: Ronni is waiting at the Zohar garden!
So grandma and Mika walk over, but - without a bike!
From the multiple games which the two little girls play,
-most of them in the frame of acting as "mummy-baby"
I chose to document only this moving scene:
Ronni, 4 3/4, is playing mummy
and has to lift baby Mika, 3 3/4!
Ronni's mother Talli, the colleague
and partner of Mika's mother Efrat
in their new job with my foster-son Levi
Bar-Gil and his wife Ayelet,
brings food for the children from her house, which borders the park.
Some neighbors who pass bye make funny remarks -they are fasting.
Talli & her husband, too, have a son called Tomer, though he is
only 7.
Yom Kippur
(see
my "documentary": The Holy Day - Holiday at Shoham - two
years ago!)
Mika and Ronni were such fantastic friends,
that it was decided,
that Ronni would spend the entire next day at Mika's new home.
I was always in the background, but asked "to
let us play alone".
From studying "The
Vortex" ,while lying comfortably on my bed,
I followed their uncountable creative activities - no rest ever !!!
Only on situation is documented:
They were talking about "everybody loves
us",
emphasized by Mika: "And I love myself!"
I was just reading this sentence in "The
Vortex", page 100:
... as you train yourself into
the good-feeling thoughts of your Source,
as you come into alignment with w h o - y o u - r e a
l l y - a r e ,
as you learn to love yourself -
the others with whom you interact will not be able to buck that current
of Well-Being.
They will either love you back - or they will gravitate out of your
experience.
Behind the little garden which surrounds
the ground floor of this house where we now live,
I catch the Yom Kippur sun moving towards the horizon and Mika in
all her joie-de-vivre !
The moon has risen above the "Garden
of Zohar (= glow)"
and the girls focus a while on this sculpture, called -
"hirhurim"=musings, quite fitting
some rare moments,
while contrasting to the daring climbing up and gliding down,
which the girls prefer (and then I cannot take photos...)
Then it is time for Mika to climb up the pretty bed underneath the
pretty image ,
bought by Imma and -despite more urgent work - fastened to the wall
by Abba.
It will be a night with many disturbances for all of us - Mika gets
up 3 times, claiming to have nightmares,
the confused phone (no reception for the cellular phones
here, therefore the "double-ring" deal between "Orange"
and "Bezeq")
called anonymously several times, even my phone, which hadn't
been reached by anyone for 4 days,
Immanuel - on "stand-by" for El-Al - finally called his
company at 4 AM,
"No, we didn't call, but yes, we need you
and wanted to call you at five".
So, when Mika woke up in this bed the next morning, Abba was already
on his way to London.
But he will come back that night - and fly away for a longer time
- for 4 nights - only the next evening
to Hongkong as a pilot and then - sailing over to China - to update
his skills on a simulator for his Boing 777.

On September 30, 2009, 7:20 PM,
the week long work of establishing the new flat at Shoham, is more
or less completed
and Immanuel parts from his wife to once more go on flight - as a
pilot to Hongkong,
and from there as a traveler on boat to China for learning on the
Boing 777 simulator .
