I want to cry
2007_01_10 [I want to cry] |
lyrics:
Avital Aharoni Arad, Israel, 2004 Narda, a peer at Rakhaf, took me to show me the ceramics of Avital in a huge hangar in Arad's Industrial Zone. Next to one of the beautiful sculptures I discerned a note. The note was a tiny poem, which still moves me deeply, though the one thing I have been gifted with is the ability to cry... |
tune: Christa-Rachel Bat-Adam Arad, Israel, Nov. 2005 |

I want to
cry, so wants the sky, in the wadi of my throat thunders along a parched flood. [CR's translation] |

- Mika's Heaven on Earth
I follow my understanding and new lekh-lekhâ on January 1, 2009, that - after 7 years - I should no longer create new pages on my 2 websites, but intermingle the evidence of new experiences with that on existing pages. On August 1, I decided to re-employ song-page after song-page for documenting and exploring the evolution of my youngest grandchild, a starchild whose assignment for this planet seems to be: to demonstrate by her own living and doing, how to playfully create from moment to moment "zest-fully and full-filled" [see the previous sculpture of the last days of Mika's family at Bet-Nehemya] |
Here is a sculpture of joyful
experiences with Mika,
On one of the weekends during that time, the family visits me at Arad
We see each other
a week later, on the second day of Rosh Hashanah,
Dinner on the second day of Rosh
Hashanah with Mika's uncle Micha, his wife Ra'ayah and Mika's cousins:
Arnon and Ayelet Mika got Ayelet to leave
the computer in her room,
While the two children
enjoy each other - with no Ayelet in sight -
