I rarely ask them to pose,

Any grandma's heart would melt away when
seeing such a scene!
Both are beginners!
Arnon finally succeeded - partly financed by his pocket-money - to get a keyboard
and started to study piano in September,
while Yael , who was an expert in Xylophon, chose the clarinet as her instrument,
only recently.
I recorded the tune, they played,
and
very pretty lyrics attached themselves to the tune towards Arnon's 11th
birthday on June 12...
A walk with the Four to the south-eastern outskirts of Arad, from where the Dead Sea can be seen clearly.
Though it's Itamar's telescope, it
is, "of course", Arnon who is carrying it.

Continuation of Day in a Cave and the Founding of the "Architectia-Band" 2009_07_20 I follow my understanding and new lekh-lekhâ on January 1, 2009, that - after 7 years - I should no longer create new pages on my 2 websites, but intermingle the evidence of new experiences with that on existing pages. Here I'm inserting a series about another Grandma-Day with the Quartet which took place at Bet-Nehemya on Shabbat, July 18, 2009, while Immanuel flew to Bangkok, and Efrat and Mika traveled to Acco, to Efrat's parents. |

We returned from the Immanuel-Cave only at 2 P.M.,
which meant there was no time to make "fried potatoes", as Itamar
wished.
"Pfannkuchen", on the other hand, need only half an hour to be ready,
a time during which the "little ones" played football on the lawn,
while the "big ones" learnt to play together a
Matti Caspi song -"a place that worries",
which I - by chance - had been repeating over and over again during the previous
days.
There is a sequence of tones, which I simply can't get into my head,
and it was difficult even for them, though they had the melody in front of
them.
The blessings over the food were simple and to the point
this time,
but I have photographed this so often, that I simply enjoyed the present moment.
On the other hand - what occurred later - was worthwhile to be documented
in ever so many images.
A Human Table or "Architectia"
(term invented by Ayelet)
Actually - when I parted from them for a 20 minutes nap - I had given them
a task, "but you don't have to".
They, indeed, were not attracted to that task for more than 5 minutes and
then invented an activity,
which not only lasted for over an hour, but which was truly fascinating for
me,
the more so, as there was a synchronicity between their "body-building"
and what I had learnt about in the morning:
While sitting on the guest-loo across the guest-room, where I had slept,
I saw some 30 magazines of "National Geographics" in Hebrew on a
shelf.
I asked on the inside: "Let me find
something relevant for my life now!"
I blindly pulled out a magazine and blindly opened a page.
What attracted me rightaway, was the image of a nine-storey human tower!
"Castellieros - from the word 'castell', i.e. 'castle' is the name of
those men and women .in Catalonia/Spain,
who engage in this kind of "body-building", building with their
bodies.
(this is my term and it came to my mind on
this morning - July 20 -
after I had heard from the open TV, while busy in the kitchen in the evening,
how young men destroy themselves by taking stereoids to "build their
muscles".)
They asked me to show them what I photographed, so
they could discern and learn, where they needed to improve themselves.
The idea had come from Ayelet, who - in stunning contrast to her behavior
with her actors at home - was not only cooperative,
but even often leading in inventing and upgrading creative activities.
She had once seen - on TV - how people used chairs to create a composition
of their bodies.
When I came in, they said:
"You came just at the right time - now pull
the chairs away from underneath us."
When this didn't really succeed, for always someone fell to the ground,
someone suggested: "Let's do the same without
chairs".
They placed themselves one upon the other - with their knees in the air,
and while counting: one-two-three - stretched out their hands and let themselves
fall .
Of course, they had to train quite a while until they were satisfied with
the result.
For me this was - is -
a sign of "Heaven-on-Earth", a sign of the cocreation between people, yes, between bodies! Individuals co-create interdependence and unity, while no-BODY gives up his/her individuality. (There is a pun in Hebrew: "yekhidim yotzrim yakhad", invented by me long ago , to define the kind of economy, which will come into being - following my Desert-Vision - after not only Communism, but also Capitalism and Globalism will have disappeared) [see the song "Etrog, Myrtle, Date, and Willow -- these are Israel!" now inserted above each of the 28 "bundles" of "All Israel are Guarantors to each other"] and see "The Succah Memorandum" of 1994, though that pun "Yekhidim yotzrim yakhad" doesn't seem to appear there |
This time, they even placed Nella, the dog, in between
them,
but she became afraid, when they let themselves fall, and leapt away.
