my departure from partnership with exterior partners,
stopping the partition between all my parts in myself,
letting my ignored parts win me over as their partner.

The RedSeaPartnerSHIP
1997-1999
was a process for two to six to eight to five "Partners",
a process of personal creating and learning and growing,
but with no long-term manifestations in the physical world.
On the physical level there were three main projects:
The 'aniyah'-partner-SHIP
and later - parallel to each other -
The FourNationTent and The
RedSeaPeaceRaft

1996-October 1997 :
Next to Taba, the border between Israel and Egypt:

The
geo-political situation of Eilat is unique:
between the Sea and the Desert
between Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Saudi-Arabia,
between the developing and the developed world.
 These
are parallel old images.
The left photo even shows the cranes of "Herod's",
the biggest and newest hotel, which was under construction then,
and became our symbol for "the Herods", the people of power.

half a year the David Succah, my mobile home, and the FourNationTent
were parking on the beach to the right (East),
across the Shalom Lagoon.

I move the bus to the Jordanian border.

Next to the border between Israel and Jordan:

the most eastern beach |
Arie was
helpful then, and David comes for several days.
While in Tel-Aviv, he and Ya'acov support me daily . |
The
idea of the "SHIP"evolves into the
" Ma'avar Ya'aqov/Ma'bar
Ya'qoub"
or "Passage
of Jacob"
a kind of school for learning Partnership,
planned to be erected (as succahs!) in the no-man's-land between Eilat
and Aqaba,
which is surrounded by threatening fortifications
from both sides, Israel and Jordan.
Good communication with the Israeli army.
This was the environment on the Eastern beach, tents, boats, cars, hotels, the
Red Sea, Eilat, the Sinai mountains,
far from the SPS, the Space-Purity-Silence, on which my "Evolvement
of Desert Economy" was based.
But if I or David - when he came to visit and work with me - focused on the sun
setting over Sinai - we could delude ourselves~~~
Symbolizing our dream: a katamaran as our Red-Sea-Partner-SHIP
After
3 weeks:
November 1997 |
Eviction
by the Israel Land Authority.
At the Terminal Israel-Jordan, about
10 km north of Eilat-Aqaba.
I and David begin to further develop the pyramidal tent.

After
3 weeks
December 1997 |
Eviction by Kibbutz Eilot, (see
now, in 2009, a nice video)
though it was a Kibbutz member who had invited me to park on
that unused land.
The Bus is allowed to move to the "Sun-Beach", east
of the hotels of Eilat.
David and I erect the Four Nation Tent.

Sylvester-Night: Albert
and Mali become partners.

After
3 weeks:
January
1, 1998 |
Against
the wish of the Mayor of the Municipality of Eilat
we are ordered by the Israel Land Authority
to demolish 3 of the 4 tents and the canopy
. |
Tamir joins us as a partner
and later starts to live
in one of the tents next to the bus. |
 
| February-March
1998 |
Intense
work with partners and visitors, creating and teaching, planning
and writing, in the remnant of the FourNationTent - the Jordanian
Tent the David-Succah (my bus)
The idea of the PartnerSHIP evolves into
the project
of the RedSea Peace Raft, to be placed on the border.
Negotiations concerning the building of a model of the raft
and later the raft itself - on the location of the David Succah

negotiations
with Jonathan Abutbul, the owner of a small katamaran:
to demonstrate the functioning (hosting, teaching etc) of the PeaceRaft
negotiations with the Dolfin-reef concerning the start of the RAFT there |
The new NGO partners
leave,
the NGO is only on paper
but five are still partners |
The beach as seen from the katamaran on our
trial trip out into the sea.
We wanted to borrow this boat, but the owner wanted to sell
it.
Since I and David would have to pay for it,
while the other partners could not contribute anything,
David convinced us,
that this would create a bad precedent for the equality in
our partnership,
and that therefore we should let go of the idea.

The question mark expressed our frustration.
The beach people always played with the pebbles
with which I had carpeted the space between bus and sea,
and used for their creations these parts of the palm tree,
with which also Tamir built our wondrous veranda
|
Then - during the Pesach Festival - came Tamir's revolutionary
Understanding:
Not the Red but the Salt Sea will be our place to prepare a SaltSeaPartnerSHIP
May 1998-February 1999:
Tamir and I at the Salt Sea - Metzuqee-Dragot
on my 60th birthday,
August 15, 1998, Albert and Mali and their baby join us there.
September-December 1998: Rachel for 3 months in South India and 10 days in
Jordan
February 24: Eviction of Rachel and bus.
Tamir joins Rachel , Albert and Mali stay.
February 26-October 1999:
Salt Sea- Fieldschool Ein-Gedi
Tamir and Rachel create their "Succah of Concrete", and later the "Succat-David-Palace",
work parttime for being allowed to stay there and become catalysts of healing
for some 7-9 people.
September: ultimatum of eviction
of Rachel and bus.
31st of October 1999:
Tamir
inherits the bus, Rachel lives in Shoham
Rachel takes her tent and belongings
that fit into a tent
and moves in with her son Immanuel,
who then lived on his own in the new town Shoham.
March 13-June 30, 2000:
Rachel lives under a two dimensional "tent"
on the shore of the Salt Sea: the Salt-Sea-Springs
June: exterior "surrender" to
the evicting authorities ("Avi"),
inner surrender to a new phase in my life.
I move in again with my son, who has been joined by my daughter-in-love, Efrat.
November 4, 2000 - March 30, 2001 :
Rachel lives
in her tent in the garden of her daughter in Modi'in.
May: almost
deadly "pilgrimage"
in the Spanish and French Pyrenees.
Main lesson: to discern the moment,
when I must not go forward any longer,
but trace my steps backward.
Since June 12, 2001: "settled" in a flat in Modi'in,
financially assisted by her children and acting as Grandmother,
part of the time and for half a year more than full time.
Since June 12, 2003:
After a process of maturation, along a sequence of signs in my life and of
intuitions inside:
Certainty, that a
new lekh lekhâ will soon be demanded.
