Another kind of Heroism
lyrics:
Isaiah 30:15 On Jan. 27, 2012, I'm dedicating this canon to Boris, who inspired me with a "midrash" concerning the word "shuva", connected to Ps. 23: nafshi yeshovev, shae-lo-yihaeh shi'amum.. |
Another Kind of Heroism be-shuvah wa-nakhat tivashe'oun be-hashqet u-we-vitkhah tihyaeh gevuratkhaem Rachel's translation: In returning or in going about things slowly (hatznea lekhet- s. Micah 6:8 and my tune) and in serene enjoying the fruits of your life - shall you be freed, in quietness and in confidence shall be your heroism |
A Research of these seven words , begun on
July 15, 2007 - not yet completed, but updated on April 19, 2010, Day of Remembrance.
While preparing for "Firing
the Grid" on July 17, 2008
How wondrous: the song with
"these 7Hebrew words" came to my mind,
when I inserted the sculpture of Rosh-Hashanah 2011 into exactly this page!
and working on
"the Conditions for Heaven-on-Earth",
I was strongly reminded of these seven Hebrew words,
for which I could not find a congruent translation in any of the 21 English
translations
accessible in BibleGateway.com
At least concerning the word "shuvah" some translate "repentance"
and some "returning",
and at least concerning the word "tivashe'un" some are more cautious
and instead of "salvation" translate "you shall, or you will
be saved",
though there is another word for "saving" in the Bible (le-hatzil),
and Buber-Rosenzweig,
who were careful to find a specific word in German for every specific word
in Hebrew,
and who interpreted a word according to its appearance in all other contexts,
discovered, that yeshu'ah means Liberation or Freedom,
and therefore, "le-hoshi'a" means to free, and "le-hivasha"
means "to become free"
(see also my song of Jeremia's:
"heal me and I shall be healed, free me and I shall be free")
I'm also glad, that some translators felt uneasy about "trust" and
translated "confidence".
though this is still not exact, but then there is no word in English, which
connotes the Hebrew "security".
"You will be safe and secure" , is a fact, while "being confident"
is a state of mind or soul.
"Security" - the holy cow of the nations in general and of Israel
in particular, was found in ancient Israel in the temple,
and Jeremia's speech in chapter
7:4 bitterly mocks the people's illusion of security in the existence
of "God's house" (48:13)
,
Everybody missed the point of the word "gevurah"!
There are enough words for strength, that could have been used by Isaiah,
but "gevurah" is derived from the same word as "gibbor",
which means hero!
Is this not one of the reasons for all the wars in
the world:
the yearning of frustrated , unfulfilled men to become heroes?
But the main missing out on the part of all translators concerns the word
"nakhat".
There is an aspect of "rest" in it, yes, but what is rest????
This is the clue to "Heaven on Earth"!

Luther Bibel 1545 | Wenn ihr umkehrtet und stillebliebet, so
würde euch geholfen; durch Stillesein und Hoffen würdet ihr stark sein |
Elberfelder Bibel | Durch Umkehr und durch Ruhe werdet ihr
gerettet. In Stillsein und in Vertrauen ist eure Stärke |
[The Buber-Rosenzweig Bible is not listed. in Bible Gate] |
In Umkehr und Ruhe werdet ihr befreit, in Stille, in Gelassenheit geschieht euer Heldentum |
Be easy about this. Be playful about it. Don't work so hard at it. Let your dominant intent be to feel good, and if you don't feel good, then let your dominant intent be to feel relief. Feel your way through it. If you think your way through it, you can get off on all kinds of tangents. If you feel your way through it, you can come quickly to your Core Energy, and when you do that only good can then flow to you. [What's missing in this is, that feelings have to be physically vibrated, if not - we simply cannot "stand" the "difficult" feelings!] |

flee on horses.' Yet the LORD longs to
be gracious to you; |

The
word "tivashe'un'" is , as I said, very problematic. In English or other languages of Christians the root y'sh'a' is interpreted as "to be saved", which for Christians means: Your Savior has saved you from your sins by dying for you. For me it is literally healing, that Buber-Rosenzweig discovered the meaning "to be freed". Here are some quotes, in which the verb appears in the very form, in which it is employed in the famous prophecy of Zecharia 9:9-10 about "your King", i.e. the Messias, will be coming to you (See the Aria "Rejoice greatly" in Haendel's Messiah, inserted in "The Conditions for Heaven on Earth"): |

Yesterday, during our weekly phone-call, I talked with Ya'acov
about this canon
and went into great length to point out those 3 untranlatable terms of Prophet
Isaiah.
Ya'acov's response made me connect it to what I'm constantly quoting: hatznea
lekhet.
"and walking humbly with your God"
And there! today!
in the ceremony for 120 excelling soldiers, girls and boys,
the Chief-of-Staff, Gabi Ashkenasi, ended his speach with:
hamshikhu be-hashqet u-ve-vitkhah u-ve-hatzne'a laekhet!
"Go on - with quietness and
trust and walking humbly !"
See on the page with the song about the
Two Cranes,
how this synchronicity finally inspired me with a tune
to the word of Prophet Micah, which enlightens my path::
"and walking humbly with your God"
Micah
6:8
Also, one of the questions in the
International Bible Contest, yesterday in Jerusalem,
in which Avner
Netanyahu, the 15 year old son of Israel's Prime-Minister, was a star
concerned this verse:
"for not by strength (or: power,
or: violence) shall Man
(or a man) prevail (or
be a hero)"

, when - in working once more on "Nebo-Let-Go" - I translated that anonymous poem I found in the Rachel-Succah, when I visited there in 2006, I was strangely touched by that writer's usage of nafshi yeshovev from Psalm 23. The writer turned it around into"teshovev nafshekh" or perhaps "teshuvav nafshekh" , referred to again in Kiss-log 2008-04-08 in "Communication with Deity". I suddenly understood the pair: shuvah ve-nakhat". It is "excitement and full-fill-ment". The obscure root sh-v-v- which I explored so thoroughly above concerning these biblical words be-shuvah ve-nakhat is used in modern Hebrew with the meaning "of making fun". At the very end of the Intro-Page to Healing-k.i.s.s. I quoted the last song which created itself in 2012, and this one, too, includes the two words from Ps. 23 : nafshi yeshovev Perhaps: he makes my soul feel excited ???? |

- Mika's Heaven on Earth Since August 1, 2009, I employ song-page after song-page for documenting and exploring the evolution of Mika my youngest grandchild, whose assignment seems to be: to demonstrate to humankind by her own living and doing, how to playfully create from moment to moment "zest-fully and full-filled" [see previous composition] |
"....Manifestation is meant to be
a playground
where being and doing are fun..."
[Godchannel,
Second Interview with the Folks]
Since Mika's thread has reached
SongGame 2007_03_17,
I've been creating a more comprehensive composition than before:
Not only a sculpture made up of Mika's personal, individual being ~ playing
~ living
but a composition of the major experiences of her family -on this planet -at
this time.
This will include scenes in the recent past, from Immanuel's album [since
2010_01_01]
and relevant e-mail quotes from Abraham
or quotes from other nourishing
sources.
Daily e-mail quote from "Abraham", on May 7, 2010 By choosing better-feeling thoughts and by speaking more of what you do want and less of what you do not want, you will gently tune yourself to the vibrational frequency of your Broader Perspective. To see your world through the eyes of Source is truly the most spectacular view of life, for from that vibrational vantage point, you are in alignment with —and therefore in the process of attracting— only what you would consider to be the very best of your world. |
One afternoon I was granted to be with the two little
girls, Mika and Gal,
who are still best friends though they are no longer in the same kindergarden.
Gal, who is half a year younger than Mika, is my favorite in Mika's environment.
She appears often on Mika's "Heaven-on-Earth" pages, see e.g.
on Dec.14, 2009.
Just the day before Immanuel had invited her to join the little family for
a picnic:
These two lovely scenes
as well as images taken by Immanuel on January 3, 2010, during the gymnastics,
which the friends attend together,
may precede my moving experience with "Gal-al-ha-migdal" - meaning
"Wave [or Wheel] on the Tower" [see
following page]

Still more of my
virtual journey with Immanuel and Tomer to the jungle of Brazil,
though this time they go fishing - and I'm not so happy with killing any animal...
