I follow my understanding
and new lekh-lekhâ on January 1, 2009,
that - after 7 years
- I should no longer create new pages on my 2 websites,
but intermingle the evidence of new experiences with that on existing
pages.
Since March 2009 I am "synchronizing" the chronological
process of the Godchannel.com files
with the chronological process of my photos and -
if there should be time - observations of the
"Walk About Love"
continuation
of March 30, 2009;
latest update of this page: July 1, 2009
Sharon and I on our way out of Darijaat
As to Sharon and my future "non-experience"
with her, see "Noah's
Shore" Dec. 2009
While Jewish-Israeli children imitate the grownups
with their horrid "Hi" and "Bye",
instead of "Shalom", when we meet, and "Shalom",
when we part,
these Arab kids greet us with the Hebrew word, which is the best-known
in the entire world:
"SHALOM"
While Sharon and I are walking along the
road to the south, trying to hitchhike,
we come across a sign,
on which - for once - the Arab words are on top and the Hebrew
ones below:
"rafiqatukum as-salaama"
- "tzetkhaem le-shalom"
"May peace escort you" - "May you go-out to peace"
It is spring now everywhere, even through
the window of my train from Beersheva to Lod
My daughter-in-love Efrat fetched me from the
train-station.
She said, we had to find a certain family at Hadid Village.
As if one puzzle piece of Israel's community had still been missing:
close to Shoham and Bet Nehemya - I met this lovely religious
family:
The boy had discerned a cellphone in the woods around Hadid.
He managed to charge it (how?) and called one of the numbers.
Thus he found out, that it was the phone of my
grandson Tomer.
How did it get lost far from his boarding school at Ben-Shemen?
As much anger as there was against Tomer
(till this day - May 5 - he doesn't know, that his phone was found),
as much joy and appreciation was there towards this Hadid-boy.
The next day Tomer is - for a reason I forgot
- again punished and sent home from school.
I'm allowed to propose to him to take him for a hike, and he even
accepts this...
I let him choose the track, but when we - after 15 minutes - reach
an army place,
from which we were evicted rightaway,
he lost his interest in a long hike and after an hour we were
already back home.
"School for fighting against
terror "
Across a boring - unsown - field -
a little spring beauty...
An image of Tomer - taken secretly

2 days later, when taking Mika from
kindergarden,
we stumble upon a dog,
which tries to squeeze itself through the fence
of his home.
Fences, fences everywhere.... |
|
Mika wants the camera. By error she
makes a closeup of my three silver hearts.
The expression of my face is horrid, but the image proves,
that during a few days
I only had the wound of my fall
in Arad, but no Herpes on my lips... |
At 6:40 the next morning, Friday, April
3, 2009, Immanuel, my son, drives me to the first train from Lod
to Beersheva.
I get out at Lahavim-Rahat, catch a hike twice - the second driver
even brings me right to Kramim, where the Walk is supposed to
be.
But there is nobody...
I catch Michal Sason on the phone.
I have to walk back to the road almost 2 km - with my two backpacks,
my pouch, my stick,
I must hitchhike to a certain junction, I walk a while and turn
to a dust-road with the sign of "Shvil Yisrael",
but I had misunderstood Michal.
Luckily - after 20 minutes - she inquires why
I still haven't arrived...
I walk back on the "Shvil Yisrael",
and then a car from The Walk meets me and brings me safely to
the group.
A drama starts right away. connected to
the splitting of the group:
53 people will stay put, in order to cross the near border the
next day and go to the Westbank.
Only 24 people will go on to the next determination of the Walk
about Love..
I would need much time, in order to tell my own story, and decided
(July 1, 2009) to remember it in my heart...
These were the wonderful people who supported
me, when I cried my heart out about the splitters.
I asked them to let me take their picture so as to remember this
event:
Jac (Tchechia), Emanuel (Italy), Eilam, Rotem, Rim, Jonathan,
Maria (France), Martin (Slowenia)), Meital (or Maple)
The remnant group of "The Walk about Love"
sets out to the west.
The desert stays behind - to my great regret.
The forest takes over....
