Itamar Kechteil, Muhammed Adam-Universali, and Moshe Klein,
a veritable representation of Israel,
were among the 14 people who took part in the "Succah Experiment"
on July 20-22, 1989, the 20th anniversary of the landing on the moon,
and the 45th commemoration of Hitler's execution of the German rebels.

Everyone built and lived in a "succah" for 24 hours. I was unexperienced.
Eyal Yezre'eli helped me to erect mine on the cliff of the Ramon Crater.
And he helped me cope with the sting of a yellow scorpion the next morning.

The Succah on a cliff with Itamar, who still lives partly at Mitzpe-Ramon and partly in Paris and Paul, a Christian, or Gershom, with his Jewish name They prepared a cake for us.

Despite my two 40 day experiences in the desert with my mobile home
I really didn't know the desert.
I got help.
Yossi Shrira, a young man, who had lived all alone for half a year in a tent
as a ranger in the Nature Reserve of Borot Lotzl, the Lotz Cisterns, 30 km west of Mitzpe Ramon,
suggested to organize a group experience next to the Ramon Crater, which he would guide.

I felt that he didn't like me and even had contempt for my ignorance.
I therefore was in utmost panic during the days before the "Succah Experiment".
At that time I worked as the secretary of the secretary in the Legal Department of "Koor".
My bus was standing above a cliff north of Kibbutz Ga'ash.

March 14, 2011,
Since I never came around to tell the history announced on this page,
I shall use the free space on it for inserting more of the old negatives
which I let scan recently.

Since I had developed the principle to never stay longer than one month in one place, so as to be true to Abraham's Lekh-Lekhâ, we left the Aravah, Wadi Karkeshet, and Mimi Ron at the end of April and moved to Jerusalem, where we found - [this is incredible from today's perspective] - a place to park on, near or inside of "The Bell Garden". Even cows would roam there, as viewed from my bus, in the center of the Holy City! See how deserted I found it, when I passed by in October 2010!

Because of these photos I remember this hike into nature, still yellow with spring flowers and shrubs , in the environment of Jerusalem

I've no idea, where and why I took these two pictures then, But today (March 14, 2011) I find the contrast intriguing: the old vaulted tower and the wind powered electricity pole

I'm skipping the year between one month, May 1988, in Jerusalem, May 1988,
and the "parking-lot" on a rock at the beach of Kibbutz Ga'ash, from Febr. to Sept. 1989,
till the the beginning of the realization of the scientific model of my Desert Hosting Economy.
