Noah's Dead Sea Vision

Two attempts to trace the evolution of Noah's DeadSea
Vision
2004_05_06
This is my last attempt
to give you an idea of what I see unfolding now in view of the Dead
Sea and in the Deserts around it.
From now on I shall not give an idea in writing, but live my idea
in face-to-face interactions with potential partners in all camps.
From my perspective five weeks ago , "Noah's DeadSea
Vision" appeared to comprise :
Project One: "Noah's
Ark" , a tetrahedron floating and anchored in the Sea, where
the river Jordan joins it.
It was meant to be a Palestinian project only and is now dormant.
But out of it grew:
Project Two: Noah's
Shore Peace-Economy Project"
, functioning also as an "Arena
for Training Dreamers",
located on a new peninsula which protrudes into the Sea between the
1967 borders.

The peninsula of "Noah's Shore" seen
from the path, which I made from my cave down to the spring
From my present
perspective, May 5, 2004, nothing of this will materialize,
until "Noah's Ark", so to speak, will settle down on "the
Mountains of Ararat",
which is the region between Massada and the town Arad (22 km),
where a few hundred Bedouin almost live as Abraham, our father.
My work since July 4, 2003, seems to have been just the preparation
for the real arena for Training Dreamers:
"The
Mount Ararat Evolution"
or "Bedouin Economic Independence and Cultural Pride"
or
"The Desert People Around the Dead Sea:
Pioneers of a Desert Hosting Economy "
Let me indulge in pointing out a "mystical coincidence":
While lying on my bed in my cave on April 23 and pondering, how and
when to move to what spot on "Mount Ararat",
I felt like opening the story of Noah and the Flood: did the Ark land
on "Mount Ararat" or on "the Mountains of Ararat?"
While I discovered, that the latter was exact, I came across an interesting
number:
the Flood lasted 150 days!
I counted my days and was surprised to see, that three days later,
on the Eve of Israel's "Day of Independence",
it would be 150 days since the 29th of November, the date on which
I started to carve out and live in "Noah's Cave".
I had chosen the date of the United Nations' Declaration in 1947,
that the Jews had a right to an independent state,
because I wanted to point out, that Israel does survive
since then, but it still doesn't live. It is
still a victim.
So what did this coincidence of the 150 days refer to?
I understood, that a day later, on the very day of Independence, I
would have to leave the Dead Sea for now and move to "ARARAT".
Will the 56 anniversary of Israel's Day of Independence designate
the beginning of Ismael's, the Desert People's, Self-determination?
2004_03_15; last update: 2004-05_05
To my potential partners
who desire Self-Esteem and Self-Determination for the two sister/brother
nations,
and who provide tools and their own example to help these peoples
get out of victimhood,
What you see here is a border
with no checkpoint,
Tourists, among them many Israeli Arabs from the Galilee,
who stop here on their way to Eilat,
do not know or realize that it is a border.
If healing and growing towards Self-Esteem
and Self-Determination is your desire like it is mine,
join me for a moment and contemplate this electricity pole reflected
in a puddle left by desert rain:
the pole of electricity, the pole of "power"
will be, as I see it, the border
between a truly self-determined Israel and a truly
self-determined Palestine.
How will this come about?
The water symbolizes my feelings.
Self-Acceptance and Self-Determination, which comprise my "Power",
will heal and grow only,
if I learn to wholly feel what I feel,
while physically breathing-moving-sounding what I find too difficult
to feel,
and to release all judgments against what I feel.
This is the message of "Healing-K.i.s.s.",
as it is the way towards
manifesting "Noah's Dead Sea Vision."
Lass dir alles geschehn,
Schoenheit und Schrecken.
Man muss nur gehn. Kein Gefuehl ist das fernste.
Lass dich von mir nicht trennen.

Let everything happen
to you, beauty and horror.
One must just go. No feeling is the farest.
Do not let yourself be separated from me.

2009
Continuation
of the photos of my only one-day journey to my SaltSea in 2009 |
A ugly sign says explicitly that swimming here is prohibited.
What this means implicitly is,
that the authorities don't take responsibility for accidents,
but neither do they disallow camping , included swimming!
I saw no people here who came to clean the beach.
Much later I got some vague info through Facebook,
that Sharon had been cleaning up for several days,
but obviously not on this appointed day.
I actually felt relieved! I did NOT feel like cleaning.
There was too much junk to even start picking it up.
I was grate-full, that Sharon had given me a pretext
for not letting the year 2009 pass by without a visit,
and at least greet what is my true home-the SaltSea.
This and the next picture look almost alike, but
see the change in the scenery behind !
The Sea is sinking and the jungle is not catching
up with covering the exposed shore
I delight in this turtle
A swamp of rivulets, some with fresh water , some
sulphorous...
I find a corner in the jungle to rest and take a self-timer picture.
I see the Sea through the jungle canes and tamarisks
I see the bay and hear talking in Arabic only
I delight in the formations of salt , pebbles and
lime(?)
the couple came out of the bushes and delighted
being alone in the water, until the kids came and disturbed them
In the middle of the bare beach a salt hole
Again - this view looks similar to the one above,
but the foreground and background are different,
and the people - all of them Arabs, perhaps Palestinians, perhaps
Israeli Bedouins - are dispersed differently
The turtle from another perspective - with a new situation behind
it
