NO WAR, on the "sculpture" and on the rock beyond the road
Israeli Arabs, who may have come from Eilat, stop on their way home to the north

2010
Continuation
of a sequence about a trip to the Salt Sea with the family of Regina, my eldest
niece, October 18, 2010
[see
context]
Water, rocks and plants, and also animals - ibex
and ?
Half an hour walk to "my" place - 6 1/2
years after I left my cave.
Except for Noah's Cave
- where we later made a fire, put a Sadj on it for warming Samira's pittahs
and brought tea to a boil-
everything has changed a lot, because every year the sea level has been sinking
one meter.
The peninsula is much bigger and
high above the water,
the sulphor-spring comes out on a much
lower spot,
and is taken care of by visitors who never met me,
and the Bereaved Mother disappeared in a storm.
