It seems that I chose 26 actors
for my life's drama and those 26 actors chose me! One
common trait of all roles is "mutual dependency"
between them and me.
With 16 actors - my family - the mutual
dependency is life-long! With my landlords
at Arad & with my
6 starchildren, born
between 1986-88, it may be temporary.
My children: Immanuel, Ronnit, Micha; my
children-in-love: Efrat, Uri, Ra'ayah; my 10 grandchildren [born

for a gathering of friends on Sylvester.
This song will be dedicated to a classmate who was killed in
a road-accident some months ago. |

The double coincidence:
I photographed this poster at Arad 2 days
ago, and the Guitarist, who accompanies the singers, is
called Alon
|
Soon my son will go on flight to Hongkong.
Though I carefully choose only the most important scenes, and only
the best pictures,
I want to remember these minutes of Abba's parting from his family.
Only Tomer is not present today - since school started at Ben-Shemen
on this morning.
Immanuel has prepared the vegetable soup and
the wonderful salat - for us!
For he himself has to leave and comes to the table only to say goodbye
to Mika.
She, as usual, hates this moment and tries to turn away, before she
yields to her fathers kissing
What a pity, that Abba can not see these pretty
scenes:
two daughters who love each other so dearly
and one daughter who recognizes her shadow
"Look!"
Mika points to the wall:
"shteh Mika'ot!"
Two Mikas!
How come that she used this archaic plural instead of "Mikot"?
I had to quickly figure out, how to catch her shadow ,
the first attempt - with flash - see above -
wiped it out entirely...

Abba has to reproach Mika for a moment:
"Why do you smear the dough
all around",
but soon they are the best friends again. |
An Intermezzo:
While photographing the two bakers through
the window from outside,
I took two snapshots of Nella : how she prepares jumping down the
wall.
The third photo in this sequence was taken today.
It explains, why this jumping across the wall is not at all to our
liking...

Miss
Nella can be proud of the amount of documentation
she has been priviledged to receive on K.is.s.-Log 2008!
This last photo expresses the frustration,
which she as well as we feel.
Only Mika is truly happy with her.
Nella's frustration:
See the cat above the black network?
It is so close!
But Nella with all her crazy barking
cannot reach her.
The cat enjoys the superiority of her place.
Our frustration?
As sweet as she is in the house,
the minute the door is opened
to let her out to pee and shit,
she races outside,
jumps across the wall
and barks
as if she had to fight an army!
Fathers with bicycle riding children have complained.
She herself was bitten so badly in her tail,
that she almost died,
and helping her survive cost 550 NIS,
and this at a time,
when my children don't know how to pay the rent.
But the worst of all is,
that Miss Nella rejects any kind of obedience
with haunty scorn.
"Come home, Nella" , we say with utter exasperation.
But she only looks at us and runs away.
Therefore, from January 1, 2009,
I'll take her out on a leash, as I did at Shoham.... |
