My
landlords, Ofir and Meital Cohen, sent me a Powerpoint Presentation with 8 songs for the eight candles of Chanukka, Since I can't download nor record them, I'll sing each of the songs myself and insert them on each of the eight days of the festival, and - in the future - also sing one additional song myself , on each day.- since I know so many Chanukka songs |
Chanukka 2001 we celebrated in Micha's house, at Mazkeret
Batya.
Here I light the candles with Tomer.

A family trip in the environment of the Jerusalem mountains
I think, since the
"Walk about Love" in March-April 2009 I haven't been in a forest
in Israel.
(Of course, during my
visit in France and Ireland in June-July 2010, there were many forests)
After I immigrated to Israel with Immanuel on April 15, 1964, and truly integrated,
I used to say, that I missed only two things from my former country:
The ringing of church-bells and the forests.
Then, after I literally fell in love with the desert, in November
1987,
I identified with the child from a desert-town when on a trip in the Galilee:
"But all these trees are hiding the view -mastirim
aet ha-nof !".
Yet, on this day - with my children in it - I immensely enjoyed the forest
.
The photos we made, me and Immanuel: I want their size to be big here!
Mika and I found different compositions of cones on dry branches and associated them to groupings of the finalists of Masterchef. In this case probably "Elihav and Avi", or "Immanuel and Avi" |
Everyone who saw me recently, said: "It's incredible how similar
your son looks to you." I can't see it, but I'm glad.
A triple cluster of cones in our hands = the Trio of the Masterchefs of Israel...
See more images of me and Immanuel on the page: "Yossi Azulai sings to the mothers of the Masterchef finalists"
