this song of Enya is no longer available, but other songs which I love dearly, are, for instance "Angels" [lyrics of Angels] |
May the road rise to meet you
and the wind be always at your back,
may the sun shine warm upon your face
the rains fall softly on your fields,
and until we meet again
may God hold you in the palms of his hand...
Peace be with you,
peace above you
peace around you,
peace within you...
God be thy guide from camp to camp,
God be thy shade from well to well,
God grant beneath the desert stars
thou hear the prophet's camels' bells

weekly Celebration, sent to my e-mail. As to the image, see my

"....Manifestation is meant to be
a playground
where being and doing are fun..."
[Godchannel,
Second Interview with the Folks]
Since Mika's thread has reached
SongGame 2007_03_17,
I've been creating a more comprehensive composition than before:
Not only a sculpture made up of Mika's personal, individual being ~ playing
~ living
but a composition of the major experiences of her family - on this planet
- at this time.
April 15, 2010 [1st page]
The 46th anniversary of my and Mika's father's immigration to Israel
and the 19th birthday of Jonathan, my daughter Ronnit's firstborn!
Since it was also the day of the
second eruption of the Island Volcano,
[see about the first eruption some weeks ago on
SongGame 2007_03_15]
I want to exhibit the "angel" images, which I was sent - 10 days
later-
by Cornelia
[from the German magazine "der Spiegel" online], ~ with her
comment:
Es hat mich fasziniert, mit wieviel Schönheit und
Gewaltlosigkeit Europa lahmgelegt wurde.
"It fascinated me, with how much beauty and non-violence Europe became
paralyzed!"
[what a coincidence with the Aurora pictures above -- added to the song "May
it be, an evening star", in 2008!]
The next composition which honors this day, documents,
how my son, who was 15 months old when we immigrated,
10 days earlier navigated a boat on the Amazonas River.
together with his younger son, who is now 15 years old,
I did not select these jungle pictures for this 15th of April!
It was their chronological turn in the sequence of inserts
in the SongGame+"Mika's Heaven on Earth" since
2007_03_17
YES, MY SON IMMANUEL! MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU!
The third composition on this page of "Mika's
Heaven on Earth" - on April 15, 2010,
is dedicated to Jonathan, my eldest male grandchild,
born in Israel on April 15, 1991.
Up to the date of completing this composition (April 29, 2010), the postal
letter,
with its inserts and check of 300 NIS has not reached Jonathan in the army,
and my feeling is, that it should, indeed, not have reached him at this time.
I'll radiate all my blessings for Jonathan through re-creating this sculpture.
Experiences with Jonathan
at my sweet-water pond at the Dead Sea , on his birthday 2003, and in
the swimming-pool of Neve-Shalom in 2002
Since I wanted Jonathan to receive the precious
envelope while he was in the army,
when and where a postal letter is more appreciated than when it arrives at
home,
I worked on its final preparation and printings already on the evening of
April 12, 2010.
In addition to the perhaps too complex, too deep, printed letter about "Soldiers
and War".
I used a creation of Mika, letting her participate in making it a blessing
for her cousin.
Since the photo of the handwritten original is hardly
readable, I'll translate it here.
Maybe, one day Jonathan will want to read it after all:
They
shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig-tree [Micah 4:4] |
"I 'settled'
in Arad, in a neighborhood surrounded by desert, in December 2004.
This is the first year in which I allowed myself to
plant fruit trees in "my" garden.
I also planted a fig-tree and two grape-vines - in the middle of February
2010.
And lo! - the fig-tree now has 10 leaves and the vines have about 25!
In this moment: the alarm for Holocaust Day!
And yet I continue to tell you that I plucked a baby-leaf from vine and fig-tree
I glued them on paper while they were still green/fresh- in order to bless
YOU.
But until I reached Shoham, the glue had turned the green color into brown
....
Mika asked, if she was permtted to draw for you - heart, flower, butterflies..."
"She drew those in perfect symmetry,
with your name on top of the heart.
When she realized she had made a spelling mistake, she said:
"Don't worry, I'll make something pretty of this!"
and indeed, she turned the "bitter into the sweet" ,
by covering the name with a violet form and inserting three golden spots.
When she tried to write the name again - first on top of the page, then at
its bottom,
she failed again, since she insisted to write Jonathan within a little frame,
and then the frame turned out to be too small.
So after the third attempt to write your name, even Mika despaired..."
And this is my -carefully sculpted- letter for Jonathan, my
grandson, in the artillery of Israel's army,
on his 19th birthday, on the 46th anniversary of my and his uncle Immanuel's
immigration to Israel:

I attached my poem, which came to me in July 1983, while walking along the shore of Tel-Aviv, watching "Herkules"-planes above me, when it seemed that Immanuel, then in the Israeli Airforce, would fly one of these transport-planes . [See the translation on the page of "two aeroplane grandsons] "Destiny's laughter" I called the poem - addressed to my father, who was an anti-plane artillerist and fell in 1943 See my pride and consolation on the Day of Independence, when Immanuel was among the four pilots of the El-Al Show. |

On the 46th anniversary of Immanuel's immigration, at
the age of 15 months,
Immanuel flew one of four Boeings, NOT presenting the army of Israel
but presenting the private Israeli airlines
El-Al (which means: "to up")
from a video, which I found on the Internet just
after the air-show was finished and Immanuel had left the airport
photographed by a pilot-friend of my son
cropped from a news-item on TV
[More images are interspersed in between pictures of the Holocaust Drama, in which Immanuel's eldest daughter played the main role]
