Now
I know, why the angel, which I created in Mika's "Creative Circle",
|
Fear not! He will cover thee with His pinions, and under His wings shalt thou take refuge ... and the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Thy wings. .... There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent. For He will give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee upon their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. .... The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them. Psalm 91 + Psalm 36:8 and 34:8 |
On
November
29, 2009, while reading in the Siddur, I came across a line in Psalm 36:8, which complements Psalm 91:4 and the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Thy wings. He will cover thee with His pinions, and under His wings shalt thou take refuge ["pinion" =the outer part of a bird's wing including the flight feathers] In Ps 91 it's only me, who takes refuge under God's wings. In Ps 36 its human beings - the children of man - in general I adapted this line-by simply repeating the verb-to that line: On July 25, 2013 , I rehearsed this song, on my way back from the pool, while walking down my steep "Wadi-of-Compassion". which always reminds me of They shall bear thee upon their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. [See when it was first given to me] [see also in] This time - a time of great pain in the joint of my hip- the second of these two lines became: paen yikhav lakh mifraq yeraekhkha lest you the joint of your hip will pain you |

Second Interview with the Folks]
Since Mika's thread has reached
SongGame 2007_03_17,
I've been creating a more comprehensive composition than before:
Not only a sculpture made up of Mika's personal, individual being ~ playing
~ living
but a composition of the major experiences of her family - on this planet
- at this time.
April 15, 2010 [3rd page]
The 46th anniversary of my and Mika's father's immigration to Israel
and the 19th birthday of Jonathan, my daughter Ronnit's firstborn.
Abba returns from his flight to Los Angeles
and stays with Mika, till we three grownups leave.
Elah will perform in a show about the Holocaust.
This, too, occurs symbolically on this 15th of April!
Mika's album of her second year, |
"She discovers the World" is the name of the album |
Much love and laughter |
The babysitter (who works as an assistant in the kindergarden)
has arrived.
Mika had been so keen on her coming, that she could not stand grandma...
After 7 PM we leave Mika and Ortall and drive to Tel-Aviv
, to the theater of
Elah's School of Performing Arts
Immanuel and Efrat before the show and father and daughter after the show
The last scenes of Immanuel's and Tomer's adventure in Brazil
Immanuel
loves animals! My name, Rachel, means "mother-sheep", and is also the name of the first shepherdess in the Bible. This Rachel, the second and beloved wife of Ya'acov, later became an icon: "The Mother of Israel". I enjoy the contrast between those cows in the water on the other side of the planet and these sheep and goats, which Immanuel caught, while on a recent bike-trip with his friends in Israel |
Three days have been filled to the brim
