Mika's Heaven on Earth Since August 1, 2009, I employ song-page after song-page for documenting and exploring the evolution of Mika my youngest grandchild, whose assignment seems to be: to demonstrate to humankind by her own living and doing, how to playfully create from moment to moment "zest-fully and full-filled" [see previous composition] |
"....Manifestation is meant to be
a playground
where being and doing are fun..."
[Godchannel,
Second Interview with the Folks]
Mika , now, remembers the package of balloons,
bought for exercises with her blocked ears.
I keep blowing and blowing up balloons,
and we are having a genuine festival!
The 13th of March 2010 is coming to an end, or so we thought....
Imma: the day of |
March 18, 2010
Thursday: When Immanuel fetched me from the trainstation
, as usual, at 16:40,
both Mika and Tomer were with him in the car.
Tomer had just come back from a 3 day trip to the Negev with his boarding-school,
and would fly for 4 days to Bangkok this night, with his pilot-abba.
Mika was so sleepy, that she didn't want me to relate to her at all.
But just before she fell asleep, she was eager to inform me:
"Savta! We now have Moses at home!"
under the sticker the head of tiny Moses can be discerned |
She
had told me before, that Yokhevet, Mose's mother, made the ark of "zaefet" [pitch]. Then I hadn't even been sure: "Really? I don't remember this." I opened my Shoham copy of my Hebrew Bible. "Is that the "Haggadat-Pesach"? she asks, "No, that's the Tanach!" |
And
when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch; and she put the child therein, and laid it in the flags by the river's brink. Exodus 2:3 |
"Let's paint the inside",
she suggests and urges me to take part in the painting.
Then she takes the green ribbon and asks me to bind it around the "ark".
This image is from a little booklet from kindergarden.
During the following days she fills the shapes with paint,
but keeps saying:
"this is for you, Savta, you may take it home to
Arad!"
She already knows the three letters of my name "Rachel",
but writes them on her Pesach-Haggada
in mirror-script.
Though in Mika's Haggada is written: "the going-out
from Egypt",
this night it's Abba and Tomer, who "go out" and fly to Bangkok
While Tomer, ready for Bangkok, watches the news, Immanuel's face and posture show worry: "Haven't I forgotten anything?"
To my regret the photos which I made of our vivid interaction in Tomer's room refused to exist, as it turned out, when I wanted to transfer them to the computer. Tomer showed me the Game "Frets on Fire", which lets him "play" music - on the computer keys instead of on the guitar or the piano. I was truly exited and succeeded in making him open also classical music. He got attached to "Rock-Canon", which I decyphered as Albinoni's famous Adagio. |
I
so much wanted to catch a photo of Tomer with Mika. This was my not very satisfying success: |
Father and Son on their way to Ben-Gurion Airport and
from there through the night to Thailand
The next morning - Friday, March 19, 2010
While getting dressed, Mika suddenly said: "Now it's allowed to sing Moses' song!"' Yesterday she "did not allow" us to sing it, and when we did anyway, she felt offended. |
When I came to say Good Bye to Mika, already
strapped to her seat in the back of the car,
I saw her on the background of a beautiful reflection of clouds.
Since the reflection was created by the closed window pane, I needed to take
the photo through the glass.
This is the crazy result: Mika is without head, instead my head with the camera
is seen to the right,
but also some items, which I had not at all discerned in the original scene...
Isn't this a chance to quote that passage from
the
4th Interview with the Folks:
"Comparing yourself with others is a good way to be mistaken.
Whether you are seeing the other as inferior or superior to you,
you mistake the small slice of them that you can see, their outsides~
with yourself who you know on the inside.
And besides, whatever you see as 'another'
is only a reflection of a part of yourself
that you have projected outside of yourself.
"When you own the outer reflection,
either 'positive' or 'negative,' large or small,
you bring another part of yourself from the shadow into the light.
Whenever you take ownership of something
that has been outside of yourself,
you take back the outer reflection,
bringing that part into yourself, where it belongs."
