Singing&Sounding keeps me Sound
Let us return and we shall return
Let us return, light up thy countenance, and we shall be freed
lyrics:
Bible, End of Echa (in the English&German Bible called: Lamentations / Klagelieder / Wehe) 5:21 and Psalm 80:4+8+20 |
tune
- a canon for 3 voices author unknown to me, since I never find people to sing this short tune as a canon , I'm happy that today another stanza added itself, when I discovered in the Bible the additional - and threefold !- appearance of "hahivenu"-"let us return" |

2010 - Mika's and My Heaven-on-Earth
Mika "gives treatment" - she says - to our "old" olive-tree on "Crane-Piazza" |
Mika seems to remember Re'i Benjamin, Tamir's and Hilah's baby, from beyond ... |

Whoever knows me, Mika's Grandmother, will wonder,
why I show photos which demonstrate "pride in soldier-sons".
But it is exactly through this grandson, that I became mellowed:
In fact, I often before had the thought, that there are young men,
for whom the 3 year service in the Israeli army is a great blessing.
But to experience this through my own flesh and blood is different!
He waits among his comrades until his name is called, then he marches forward to receive his degree from his superiors |
He marches back, with his certificate in his hand |
The ceremony is over, and -being full of hope for Alon's
near future...
the five of us, Immanuel, Efrat, Tomer, MIka and I return home.
It was during that drive, when I sat next to Mika
and suffered with her as she struggled with her discomfort,
that I had an experience, which resulted in the understanding,
sculpted as the first 2010 entry of Learn&Live

Though Immanuel returned home yesterday , I stayed at Shoham,
since already on Saturday evening he would go on flight once more.
Immanuel uses to accompany Mika to kindergarden,
on the same way, as I do this usually, when he is not at home
When reaching this signpost, Mika always calls her mother above, and Efrat
appears on the veranda and greets her.
Since it's Friday, kindergarden finishes at 12:45, and its me, who fetches
her and enjoys her and her snail-creation:
One scene from among the many activities in the
afternoon:
Mika had gathered stones at that beach of Alon's ceremony.
Stones and some shells now serve as material for her creations
Another activity was dictating her mother "a
letter to God", which she intended to stick into the Wailing Wall the
next day.
Though "it is forbidden" to show such letters to any other person,
I couldn't resist, opened the two notes and copied them....
"God, this is me, Mika Rosenzweig
from Shoham..."
Later, after the beginning of Shabbat-Eve, we travel to Micha's family at Mazkeret Batya
Despite the winter-season, It's still abnormally
hot,
and - after a wonderful dinner - the grownups sit on the veranda:
My sons and my daughters-in-love: Micha and Immanuel, Ra'ayah
and Efrat
Ayelet discerned Mika on the floor and urged me to take a picture |
