See the coincidence between the 2007 sculpture with
Mika above and her experience with a baby,
a sequence of photos, whose chronological turn to be inserted in SongGame
2007 was on this page!
An
accumulation of coincidences: When I came to Shoham this time - on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, Efrat said: "This time you must make a bridge and stay with us." Immanuel would come back late on Sunday night, from China, and fly again on Tuesday night, - to New York. It wasn't worthwhile to return to Arad, and since Ofir my landlord was "on guard" for a week, far away, I needed to bother Boris with the task of watering my garden. Since I prefer to not be at Shoham, when Immanuel is here, so they can enjoy their intimacy as a family, I pondered, how I could make use of the "bridge" of time. On Sunday I called Tamir (see about the Brith of his son): "Would it be fine to visit just the three of you at your home, though Efrat - remembering the period after Mika's birth- says, it's not a time for visiting a family that struggles with a newborn?" I let him think and ask his wife about it and he called: "What Efrat said is true for other people, but not for you. Moreover: from sunset tonight till sunset tomorrow, it will be the Hebrew date of my fortieth birthday!" We fixed the time for Monday afternoon, Nov. 1, 2010. Immanuel brought me to the Ben-Shemen Junction, from where I usually hitchhike to Arad. |
Recently I've stopped endangering myself
and others, Since there never came a car which turned to my route 6, and only cars which drove on Highway 1 towards Jerusalem, I seemed to have no choice, but getting off after 3 km and wait on the fork between Highway 1 and Highway 6. Now I've surrendered to stay with the drivers on Highway 2 get off at Latroun junction and hitchhike west, not on a highway, This roundabout route to Arad is, of course, much longer. But - perhaps there is a sign in being forced, to turn my head towards Jerusalem, so holy for many people, so unloved by me. After all, my mother is buried there, opposite "Rachel Our Mother" Street in the "German Colony"! And now Tamir, my old partner, lives close to it, at Shoeva., the home of the angel, who helped me to care for my mother! Shoeva !. When the conversion of my old army-bus into a mobile home was finally completed, the first target I drove to was an artist at Kibbutz Ga'ash, When in the one night, I planned to stay, my bitch bore 5 puppies, I was allowed to stay for a week, But then I moved - to Shoeva! At that time I still needed to connect to electricity every 3 days. I was invited by my angel,Prof. Marian Rabinowitch and his wife, to park my bus for 2 weeks in front of their house at Shoeva... |

The mica group of sheet silicate (phyllosilicate) minerals includes several closely related materials having highly perfect basal cleavage. All are monoclinic with a tendency towards pseudo-hexagonal crystals and are similar in chemical composition. The highly perfect cleavage, which is the most prominent characteristic of mica, is explained by the hexagonal sheet-like arrangement of its atoms. The word "mica" is thought to be derived from the Latin word micare, meaning "to glitter", in reference to the brilliant appearance of this mineral (especially when in small scales). [Nov.2,
2010, 8:50 PM. Efrat: "Rachel, come quickly!"
In the Israeli evening news it was told, that some blind people can now "see", with the help of a chip with more than 1000 details, inserted behind his retina. While we were watching the short clip, the test person described things he was seeing, like knife or a banana, And then: "he can even read his name and tell us, that since his name is a Finnish name, it should be spelt differently." The 4 letters he was demanded to read were : M I K A So if this test person's name was Miikka, why was he shown M I K A ? Wasn't it "just for me", who today in the Shoham sang: (3)Jubilate

After some hours of togetherness with the threesome at
their rented house in Shoeva,
they decided to drive me back to my family at Shoham - which took only about
25 min.
Among many other gifts, which Efrat retrieved for
the young family and which I had brought with me,
I also told them about this chair, which Efrat used as a new mother and which
she cherishes very much.
"Really?" both
Tamir and Hila exclaimed. "We saw such a
chair at our friends' and said: that's what we need!"
This was another reason for their decision to drive me to Shoham with their
car.
When Efrat heard, that they were also looking for a radiator-heater, she pulled
one from behind the piano.
"It's for you, we don't need it any longer!".
I felt extremely priviledged, |
The
next morning I asked Mika: "Did you
like Hila?" "Yes", she said and lowered her voice: "but I let one of my toys fall on the baby's head!" My heart ached, when I saw her pain of guilt. Hila had come to my room, to suckle her child. Mika came too, and communicated with Hila through ever so many toys and talks. Once she held these 3 pods above the baby's head. We had picked them up on our way from the pool, first "a father", then "a mother", then "a child". Now one of these pods fell on Re'i Benjamin's head. There was no damage whatsoever, but Hila said - though very softly - that babies have a sensitive head. and that Mika should be careful. Looking at the triad of these fruits, I still feel that ache in my heart... I use the opportunity to tell 2 other sayings of Mika. In bed: "Why do I have to sleep? I've so many things to do!" When Immanuel heard it , he said: "She's truly her father's daughter!" And of course, my granddaughter! This overflooding well of ideas! Ideas to create! During shower, Efrat to Mika: "They say, that you are a chatterer." Mika: "I have much to say!" |
