I focus my experiencing and awareness on being
"a pioneer of Evolution in
learning to feel":
I let my Body vibrate and my Heart 'womb'
pain, shame, fear, boredom, powerlessness,
so feelings can >heal >guide>fulfill>evolve,
and ~~~ offer ~~~"goldmines"~~~ to us all!! "I
want you to feel everything, every little thing!"
"you
shall draw water with joy from the springs
of freedom"
"Schoepfen
sollt ihr Wasser mit Wonne aus den Quellen
der Freiheit"
(Isaiah 12,3), see

This
is the first Israeli song/dance I learnt in 1958
The translucent thread through the labyrinth of my experiences,
is WATER - Mayimin Hebrew,
Maya in
Arabic -
Water which symbolizes
God's WILL,
i.e. Emotions - Feelings - Desires.
Flowing with the Water suits my desire
to "follow
Will's and Body's lead".

as a living gravestone for the murdered Primeminister
Since this is going
to be a new start on my site, I observe the date:
Today 9 years ago, Yiftakh conducted his Succat-Shalom Festival .
His helpers cooperated marvelously, but it was not worth the price:
Yiftakh came to the conclusion, that the Desert closes itself to masses.
Since I see myself as a Trainer of Dreamers, I let him have this lesson.
But we agreed that I would not take part in it.
In fact, while
everyone was working like mad,
I was - for once - taking an afternoon nap in my bus around the hill.
To my dismay a visitor intruded through the open door - . "My name is David, remember? We met in 1991 and also in 1992,
when I served at this army communication base as a reservist?"
Later
he confessed, that this year he had to fight for being sent to this
base.
He had discovered the Succah - and me - during the Gulf-War in January
1991.
There was much rain that winter, which followed
a vivid blooming in the desert.
One day I entered the "Abraham" Succah, found a TV crew there
and frowned. "We mean no harm", was
the hurried reaction of renowned Freddie Gruber. "I see, you have flowers
in your hands!
Are you ready to take part in a report about 'The Flowering in the
Negev' ? It
was for the main weekly News, which meant nothing to me,
who had no TV.
I agreed reluctantly and he asked:"For
what do flowers exist?" I laughed:"You
don't want me to go into metaphysics, do you!" "Why
not?"
I
wouldn't know today, what to say.
But then I must have "channeled" a response,
which many people "were supposed" to see.
It brought people to the Succah who later had a major impact on it,
like a couple from Italy, the German Dieter and the Israeli Batya.
They conducted 10 day silence meetings in the Succah,
which were the most rewarding experiences I had there,
both emotionally and financially.
"Flowering in the Negev" was also watched by David and Eilat.. "It
was then, that I knew, it was you for whom I've been searching all
my life."
Today
it's nine years, that this futuristic, now frozen, drama
began its course.
But it's twelve years, that 'Water in the Wilderness' caused a seed
to germinate.
It's
nonsense
says reason
It's what it is
says Love
It's
a disaster
says calculation
it's nothing but pain
says Fear
it has no chance
says Insight
It is what it is
says Love
For 3 years in a row the first annual rain poured down
on the 19th of October.
It was a Shabbat morning in my bus, in the first year, 1990.
I had a talk with a man, whom I later cursed:
he volunteered to be the Succah's Accountant.
After parting I went around the hill to the Succah!
I found
a group of 11 women waiting in "Abraham".
They wanted to have an "American-Indian" workshop. "We looked for the signs - they pointed
to this place."
By then hardly anyone knew about Succah in the Desert.
I said, that since no guests were expected,
I had not much food, but could make them a good soup.
They asked for more: "Our twelfth woman couldn't make it the last
moment.
It seems, that you are supposed to be the twelfth!"
I agreed and incredible hours followed.
At noon we went up for a ceremony of Letting Go,
in which everyone buried a valuable token in the earth.
I proposed the place where now is the "Tent of Appointment".
We were standing in a circle,
when suddenly the hair of all of us stood up in the air.
Hair in all colors, from black to red to white (mine!).
White stormy clouds wrestled with the bursting sun,
A double rainbow bridged the wadi between
the Jacob succah and the Hill of the Angels' Flight.
I buried a copy of my Hebrew book....
Later I learnt, that there had been static electricity in the air.
From this
perspective I see the translucent thread connecting those events
to what I - even then - saw as the most mystical event in my desert years:
Snow and ice, and melting of snow and ice above and down to the Crater.
On
the first of January 1992, one hour before midnight,
the entrance to my dwelling in the Desert looked like this:
The next morning I could hardly open
my door,
and when I came down to the Abraham Succah,
I put down my basket wondering how to get in.
Intense experiences
followed - with the soldier guest Uri Goldin,
and my student son Micha, who came 6 hours down from Haifa,
just to see, if I was still alive.
Heavy snow fell three times in six weeks.
The first time it was not until the tenth day, that all the snow was gone.
People came from all over Israel to see this miracle in the Desert.
My Bedouin neighbors had a hard time and my succahs were badly damaged.
But I rejoiced.
I rejoiced in listening to the many little rivulets
of melting snow,
which trickled and ran down the slopes of the Ramon Crater.
"Redemption is close", these rivulets sang
to me.

A Composition of Biblical Prophesies in four stanzas
will Accompany this page.
We
were resting under a Rotem bush in a dry wadi,
on our serene threesome walk through the Desert,
when they taught me this tune to Isaiah 35,1+6b.
A little later we found giant ammonites,
to remind us of the waters
on what are now the "Negev-Heights"
60 000 000 years ago.
Over the years I adapted the tune to additional verses,
until the composition arranged itself in four stanzas.
I added a tune of my own to the last line of each .
It is quite difficult to translate this poetry into English,
because Hebrew has more nouns for Desert,
and more verbs for expressing Joy in sound.
"They shall be joyous,
the desert and the parched land
and the wilderness shall exult
and blossom as the lily.
"For in the desert
shall waters break out,
and streams in the wilderness.
And Dry-Wind shall become a lake,
and Thirst - springs of water."
And a route and a way shall be there,
"Way of Holiness" it shall be called." Jesaja 35
The next 3 winters must
have been dry,
which gave me the hope that the skies would cooperate,
when in the winter 1995/6 I had offered the government,
to erect a living memorial for the murdered Yitzchak Rabin:
the digging of the first modern water cistern in the Negev.
The government did not cooperate, but the skies did open.
I have no photo, but my bus - then facing the vast Zin wadi - was a precarious
island in the water.
For 2 hours not even the artemisia shrubs - seen clearly on Gadi's photos
- emerged from the flood.
It was hilarious and a fond fare-well the Negev was granting me,
before I parted from it and descended to deserts even drier than it.
Water in the Wilderness is the strongest
symbol
for "a New Earth and a New Heaven" in the Bible.
Even if Water is not mentioned,
it's the Wilderness, the Desert where it will begin.
For you
shall go out with joy
[not in panic as in your Exodus - Js 52,12] and be led (back) in
shalom Hills and mountains shout-out
in jubilation before you
and all the trees of the
field
shall clap their hands
and all the shrubs of the desert
shall clap their hands.
[Isaiah 55,12. Last line: my addition]
,
During the first war against Iraq - 1991- this tune came to me to this prophesy:
HE is comforting Zion, is comforting all her
ruins,
and he sets her desert like Eden
and her wilderness like His garden,
joy and gladness shall be found there,
thanksgiving , and the voice of singing. Bible, Isaiah 51,3
This photo I found in Gadi's collection,
which means,
that after 1998 there also must have been snow once.
As to 1992, only the photos above stayed with me.
The album I dedicated to Water in the Wilderness,
a celebration of that snow and melting
perished in the 1998 fire.
