Among the events which prophesied my new task,
was my gift for Tomer's 8th birthday on November 8: a collection of 24 expressions of what T loves, photos, which I sent to his mother's e-mail address. I got no sign from him nor his mother, that he was pleased or even touched. But a week later the "problems" with Tomer reached a peak, from where my role as foster grandmother came in sight. To view this problem kid as a child with so many loves, had put me on the right track, before I even knew I was heading somewhere. |
