2010 - Mika's and My Heaven-on-Earth

Heaven-on-Earth
|
On December 7, 2010, after Abba left for his flight to Hongkong, we light the candles on the Eve of the last day of this sad Chanuka. |
The next morning in the Chanuka-holiday-kindergarden

Mika accompanies Imma to the supermarket and receives
a toy cart, which Imma puts together with some difficulty.
See also the artful "drawing" of the chairs and table on the veranda!
Mika and I watch the DVD, which Abba bought after
the theater-show of the "FestiGal", which he had visited with Mika
last Saturday
Mika enjoys acting as Imma's coiffeuse
Mika scrubs off the black color which hides the pretty
pattern on a two-dimensional Chanuka-jug [see
the famous Chanuka song: "qad qatan" - little jug]

At some time Efrat works on the "finish" of
the album for Ayelet's Bat-Mitzva,
which will be celebrated on Dec. 27, 2010, with the numerous family members,
and on which the two of us have been working ever since the month of May.
Now Efrat is looking for an image of Savta, which would suit the
Ayelet-Song.
And while surfing in her and Immanuel's archive, they remember old pictures.
I happened to take photos of mother and daughter, when an image with Mika and Ya'acov, my brother peer, appeared on the screen |
As usual, Mika involved herself in activities, which were
too many to be followed by the camera.
But two sequences I wanted to catch nonetheless: letting "gullot"
jump on our precious blue tray,
and - later - her playing "couple" with two robots constructed from
plastic pieces called "Sabres"!
The following sequence has to be watched like a movie
in slow motion.
When Mika had the idea of constructing a robot from the "Sabres",
I told her, that one of my favorite movies, which I then recorded and saw
often,
was about a robot, who at first served as a house-maid, and in time became
human.
"The last picture I'll never forget: the robot
loved and was loved by a human woman.
When they were very very old ("as old as
Meme?" her mother's grandmother, "twice
as old")
they lay in bed and held each others' hands, thus walking
together into their death with love!"
Mika seemed to be very touched, and immediately constructed a second robot:
"They are a couple! This one is called Mika, and
this one is called Oree!"
(Oree and Mika will celebrate their kindergarden birthday together!)
From that moment on she forgot about my presence and invented a drama,
she talked in the name of "Mika" and in the name of "Oree",
and staged them as a very loving couple...
