Fine-tuning to my Presence
Mika's FULL-FILL-ments with her wider Family,
her grandparents, her cousins, her aunts and uncles
[see Overview of Mika pages until October 13]
Watching and interacting with Mika,
my little granddaughter (21 months old),
who still knows, how to
create Heaven-on-Earth in each moment of her life.

This wonderful scene with Elah and Mika -still in plaster
- and with Dita and her grandson Itai on August 5, 2006,
one month after
the accident and the beginning of the Israel-Lebanon war,
shows, what "Family" can be like in times of sorrow:
Dita opened her house and heart to receive Mika and later Efrat, and even
Mirjam, her mother,
who had been with Efrat almost day and night in the shelter of the hospital
in Naharia.

On
March 24, 2007 Dita Liron, my childrens' step-sister, and a wonderful artist, invites her siblings and their families to the birthday of her little grandson Itai. This is where Immanuel had a chance to make the photos of his daughter Mika and his sister Ronnit, and also of Ronnit's husband Uri. It is rare, that Mika agrees to sit on someone's lap , but with Ronnit it seems, she couldn't get enough of it! |

Four Girls"

Ayelet (8), my son Micha's daughter, is a "challenging" daughter, but a very motherly cousin to Mika and loves her dearly. Here they are at Dita's , playing together in the garden. |
Ten days later, on the
Eve of Pesach, |
More scenes of interactions between Micha's daughter Ayelet and Mika, see "Mika's Full-Fill-ments (3)"
With Efrat's Family in Acco
December 20, 2006, in Acco, 2 days before the move to Shoham. Happy first birthday, Mika! You have brought great joy to your grandfather Victor and grandmother Mirjam, and also to Shakhaf, your mother's brother's daughter. |

The Family of Efrat, Mika's Mother, Acco (Acre)
on "Mimona", the festival of Moroccan origin, celebrated by Moroccan
Jews on the 8th day of Pesach.
Saba Victor and Sabta Mirjam
and also Shakhaf, daughter of Dani, Efrat's brother
And once more a family-celebration,
August 25, 2007
this time at Mazkeret-Batya,
about 30 min. drive south of Shoham,
one of the oldest settlements in the Land of Israel, 1885:
Arnon has become 11 on June 12
Ayelet has become 9 on August 14
Grandma has become 69 on August 15
Ra'ayah will become
50 on August 28
Micha will become 41 on August 31
Uri - avoiding the crowd - again enjoys his relationship with the tiny girl, as if he hadn't enough children of his own.... As usual Mika is magnetically drawn to all kinds of magnets on the door of the fridge. |
The question is,
how will Mika fit in with the relationship between the
Quartet and Grandma
after so many years of weekly, then monthly "Grandma-Days"?
Grandma reads the blessings attached to the gifts
from the Quartet and Mika is there with us.
The two images - shot by Tomer - beg:
"Mika, thank you for having finally joined our Family
You are welcome especially in the midst of us Five!"
