To sing canons for two, three, four, even five voices was very common in my
life in Germany (1938-1964).
In Israel - so singing has always been of outstanding importance - the canon
is almost unknown.
So except for the time when my brother or sister visited me - may their memory
be blessed
I had never ever a chance to sing the many canons I grew up with.
It is still nice to sing them alone....
