I,
Christa-Rachel, Immanuel's mother, have been healing, learning and creating through "Healing-K.i.s.s." since 10 years. That it was erased on..... Christmas 2008 was a sign: "no longer create new pages! but add new creations to existing pages! [up to maximum 1300 KB size per page]" The purpose was revealed only N O W: Humankind is p a s s i n g from linear time and separateness to spherical 'time' and ONEness! |

Hymn Julie Hausmann (1826-1901) |
tune: Friedrich Silcher 19th century |
1. So nimm denn
meine Hände Und führe mich Bis an mein selig Ende Und ewiglich! Ich mag allein nicht gehen, Nicht einen Schritt; Wo du wirst geh'n und stehen, Da nimm mich mit. |
2. In dein Erbarmen Hülle |
3. Wenn ich auch gleich nicht fühle |
This
is a cynical image of a "black sheep" praying, and the devil appearing, advising him to run away. By showing me this video on his birthday-twice, Tomer obviously wanted to tell me something. "Take my hands and lead me... I don't want to walk alone, not one step, Let me rest at your feet, your poor child, it will close the eyes and believe blindly." This was my favorite song, when I was a child. Who taught me such horrid dependency? I had to wait until I came to Israel at the age of 22, to understand, that this is not at all "God's Will". The first experience was during a secret night. Rafael Rosenzweig said: "You must first become strong yourself, before you'll be allowed to take the hand of someone stronger." This was a strange message by an anti-theist "channeler". Not much later I was introduced to Martin Buber. I came with a question: "Why is it, that only weak people need God?" He leaned forward with his blue eyes and said: "There are no strong people! Even those who believe they are strong, wake up at night and feel their weakness! But you have to learn one thing, Christa: a sense of humor!" It took me half a year to wean myself from praying, praying in the sense of my once favorite song... |
Recently I hitchhiked with a religious truck-driver,
whom I had met several times already 3 years ago.
He remembered that I was German and became Jewish
and he asked me about the Jewishness of my husband.
When I told him, that he was fiercely anti-religious,
he asked: "So why did you need him?"
I heard myself answering;
"Because I needed to become free of my childish
dependency on God.
It is like with children.
They have to leave the house, they have to separate from their parents,
and then, once they'll have learnt to be independent , they'll come back,
and the relationship between them and their parents will be equal!"
In the course of the first years of my married life
I finally understood,
that I had to follow the advice of the theologian Bonhoeffer,
who wrote from prison, shortly before the Nazis killed him,
about the "Coming-of-Age" as a dire need for the Church.
It definitely was a dire need for myself.
And so - for about 15 years I lived - "etsi
Deus non daretur",
Bonhoeffer's quote of a medieval Latin sentence:
"as if God did not exist".
When I recently re-edited
and thus re-studied
"A Letter
from God to those doing the healing work",
I felt, that the following passage referred to those 15 years:
"Beyond honoring, accepting and moving all held emotions...
there are two additional secrets of success in this healing work....
The second secret is...
to be ready to lose Our support temporarily...
and then continue on anyway...
as you follow your own free Will home to your Right Place.

RE-Creation-in-slow-motion Masterchef Israel Summer 2011 |
As before, I'm choosing the scenes, which are most relevant to me, - I crop
them, edit them and sculpt them.
I'll juxtapose pictures from Mika's life, which once again coalesce with her
father's grand reality-show on TV.

The Finale of Masterchef 2011
Michal:
"You three great ones, how are you?" And - facing Elihav - laughs:: " You seem to be relaxed" - Elihav: "Imma-leh" Michal: "Immanuel, tell the truth, is this more pressuring than flying a plane with 400 passengers behind you?" Immanuel thinks for a second: "Yes! To fly 400 passengers, that's a process which we learnt, step by step, very structured. In the end there is excitement, but here it's a roller-coaster, nothing is forseeable, everything in total craziness" |
Roshfeld:
"Immanuel, Avi, Elihav - the three great ones ...within less than an hour we must part from one of you. The two who'll remain, will cook the dish of the Finale which will determine who'll be the Masterchef of Israel. You'll present it to us "live" to the 100 tasters, that came here especially. Michal; "Also your families came here ... |
of Elah |
Eyal: "This is the time for the first assignment of the Finale, the assignment which will determine who will be the two who will compete head to head about who will be the Masterchef of Israel. In order to reach this important decision, we challenged ourselves and chose to taste your dishes without knowing, who of you prepared them. We wanted to judge only according to the taste. Switch of scene: Michal, "Today we'll taste the dishes and judge them, without knowing who prepared them. |
Michal: "This year we had an extraordinary team. with regard to the level of cooking and the friendship between you" |
We'll
wait for your dishes in an isolated room, we'll not pass through your
stands, not pressure you, not help. All you prepare to day, will be dependent on you only. |
Chaim:
"You didn't think, you would prepare only one decisive dish today,
right!" Elihav, with irony: "Of course" Chaim: "You'll cook 2 dishes, a first dish [appetizer] and a main dish. After 45 minutes from the beginning of the assignment, the waiters will approach you , take from you the first dish, bring them to us for tasting . After an hour and a half from the beginning of the assignment, the waiters will approach you again... The judges will give up to 40 points to each dish... The first dish must include fish, and the main dish must include meat - are you ready?" "READY". |
The three cook the appetizer-meal
Elihav:
"So little time for 2 dishes! It's like giving a baby 2 kg of Materna in one go, without letting him make "greps" in between. the baby suffocates, and that's about the feeling I had." |
Elihav: "I hope that also my friends are doing alright. What's happening here today, is like a competition between 3 brothers." |
and then sense: "Too much Brandy" - I grasp that I have only a few seconds for presenting the dish. " "Ten, nine...." |
"And I pull out the form (?), just like that, with the hands.
That's boiling,"
A waiter or waitress |
The Three cook the main dish , y e t - out of the blue - also a dessert is demanded!
[When yet another blow comes down on you, what can you do but laugh?] |
"This
means, that in another hour and 45 minutes, we also wish to receive a dessert." Immanuel: "Wow, I still hardly know, what I'm going to prepare as a main dish... now I have to think about a dessert?" The judges taste Avi's dish and say: "Immanuel", "Clearly, Immanuel" "There is much too much salt in it" |
Eyal:
"There's a wonderful soup, it's like a room with an echo in it. And the echo is the echo of alcohol. It's Brandy, - Other judges: "yes, it's Brandy" "I wanted to say it's Kognak." "It's too strong." The judges go on judging, while the images show how Immanuel works on the main dish with utmost concentration. Since this is the last of his 3 dishes, I want to exhibit 3 perspectives of it. |
