A Yiddish
Folksong |
became
a Hebrew Folksong |
What looks like a funny song,
demonstrates the main elements of
physically moving emotions:
Dancing, laughing and crying.
At least one other stanza should be added:
about the Rebbe breathing and all Chassidim breathing with him
--- the circular, connected breath I learnt in "Rebirthing"!
Un
az der Rebbe tanzt Un az der Rebbe tanzt tanzen alle Chassidim tanzen alle Chassidim tralalala, tralalala tanzen alle Chassidim Un az der Rebbe lacht Un az der Rebbe weint |

LEVI BAR-GIL
with four third-grade classes in a religious school at Shoham,
organized by his co-worker Efrat Rosenzweig, my daughter-in-love
fourth
page |
This girl was chosen to demonstrate Levi's steps and
gestures
…
..
lifting hands to God???
Levi: "It is not easy
to get religious boys to dance with the girls"
Later we met Racheli, the teacher, (not
this one), telling Levi : "we
didn't expect it to be so wonderful!"
Levi takes care, that the one hundred students leave
orderly
leaving orderly while still dancing
May the team of Levi & Ayelet, Talli and Efrat
(with Immanuel behind the scenes) learn to cooperate
better and better,
so that more and more children and their teachers may enjoy the joy and the
empowerment of dancing together.
Let me quote Denver's
song again:
"We are one when dancing with the mountains
We are one when singing in the wind
We are one when thinking of each other
More than partners
much more than pieces
more than friends"
