The reason for remembering this song suddenly today was this:
A friend wrote to me about one of the richest women in Israel,
whose path becomes more and more "spiritual", as people say.
He had sent me an article, in which it was reported,
that the workers of the gigantic enterprise of this woman,
regularly retreat to consciousness raising workshops,
and that those take place mainly in "Succah in the Desert".
My friend expressed the wish,
that this woman would use her financial and spiritual power,
to bring peace to Israel.

I answered that redemption or peace etc. will not come through one person etc.
and pointed to the little song, which sculpted itself already in 1993 in the desert.

Despite of this understanding and knowing,
that the Messiah has to be redeemed within each of us,
and will not come from the outside,
I feel great compassion for the millions of suffering Jews,
who must have found some comfort in singing that song.
Therefore I keep singing it with them.....
