Die Gedanken sind frei
The Thoughs are FREE
2. Ich denke, was
ich will und was mich beglücket, doch alles in der Still, und wie es sich schicket. Mein Wunsch und Begehren kann niemand verwehren. Es bleibet dabei: die Gedanken sind frei! |

Immanuel's photo-experience of "Brazil" - parallel
to and still different from mine

The bus of the El-Al crew takes us - during 45 minutes
- to our hotel, where Immanuel and the other crew-members use to lodge.
Mika takes the camera, and after the disappointment, that a certain "water-fall"
was nothing but a sewage, which ran into the river,
she tried to catch "clean water".

After not much sleep, and while in Israel it was already 4-5 PM, 6 hours later than in Sao Paulo, we explored the close surrounding of the "Tivoli"-Hote. I was less impressed by the gigantic "Bandierante" stature than by the enormous branches which enwrapped "him". ![]() |
![]() This was the first time we visited a restaurant, and at some point I said: "Now it's 9 AM here , which means it's 3 PM in Israel!" In that moment I was struck by a vertigo ~~ so horrid, that I felt I would die. I quickly leaned my elbows on the table and my head into my hands. I thought: "I told Efrat that I promised Body not to die! It will discourage her! But if I'm meant to die, why now! why not at the end of my family's holiday!" Efrat said: "If this is a kind of show, then know that you worry us!" It took some more seconds till I could whisper: "Wait a bit!" Then I began to recover, I went outside and recovered fully.... |

The next day - our first full day - we drove to a
village of artists and artifacts.
I, too, was moved by the music of an Indian (illegal) band from Columbia.

Mika's sad face reveals, that she feels hurt by something, probably by a quarrel with her mother ![]() |

I told the story
about the chapel,
I also told, that it was Good Friday, |

The next day we spent at the beach, as I told. The great fun was "balanced" by the hardship of jamned traffic-roads...

I
was delighted to drink directly out of a coconut, one of the few things I appreciated, while in South-India for 3 months, in 1998.... ![]() |
