Chana
Bloch announced two books, one about her own poetry and one about her
translation of Amichai's poems.
On her website I find a
review of the latter:

"....Manifestation is meant to be
a playground
where being and doing are fun..."
[Godchannel,
Second Interview with the Folks]
Since Mika's thread has reached
SongGame 2007_03_17,
I've been creating a more comprehensive composition than before:
Not only a sculpture made up of Mika's personal, individual being ~ playing
~ living
but a composition of the major experiences of her family - on this planet
- at this time.
April 22, 2010
What a relief! The flights over Europe are allowed
again,
since the Iceland volcano has decided to give the planet a break.
Immanuel, therefore, could fly to London this afternoon,
not only as a pilot of EL-AL to and fro,
but in order to keep himself fit with the help of the Simulator,
"without which my licence would stop to be valid
next week!"
This time it was Efrat, who needed to come to Lod
to fetch me.
There were stumbling-blocks on the way:
There wouldn't be trains in the south during these days!
But "there will be a shuttle from Beersheva to
Kiryat-Gat",
was announced on the Internet's website of Israel Trains.
Yeah! but when and where? How dumb this company can be!
Anyway, I finally sat in the shuttle, a huge tourist-bus,
and enormously enjoyed the splendid weather
with a fantastic spectacle of clouds and the afternoon sun..
Once a huge composition raced north parallel to the bus!
But then it stayed behind again and probably dissolved,
or merged with other clouds into ever new, playful creations!
The train arrived - an hour later than usual.
I would meet Efrat and Mika, but where were they?
I walked into their direction through the town of Lod,
and it was only after 25 minutes that I discerned them.
"You cannot imagine how jammed the traffic was!"
But now that we had merged, the good time began:
If Efrat would have waited a bit, her daughter would
have opened her safety-belt by herself
"Hide and Seek" was one of the first games.
(often the kind of involvment which is
demanded from me, doesn't allow documenting the game!!)
There was a breakthrough in Mika's understanding:
When it was my turn to seek her,
I made myself wandering around and calling out the places, where I didn't
find her,
but alas, in this case, it was already the second place, where I discovered
her,
squeezed far away at the wall under the sofa.
Little Mika said in a hurt voice:
"One shouldn't find me where I am hiding!"
Though all family members have been used for the last 1 1/2 years,
that Mika makes it ever so clear, where she is hiding,
I couldn't help saying to her this time:
"But Mika, it seems, that you don't really
understand the game."
"I do understand it!" she exclaimed,
hurt even more.
And she proved it now, asking me to seek her once more.
I again stood against the wall, with my arms covering my eyes
and counted till twenty - in a funny voice and bumpy rhythm.
Then I searched for her,
surpised that she wouldn't give herself away by some little shriek.
After I had literally combed through all corners of the entire flat,
I said: "I've
looked everywhere -"
and heard myself complemented by Mika: "Except
in one place!"
When I discovered her in the most unlikely hide behind her room's door,
I asked her to demonstrate to me, how she had accomplished
this feat.
Yet, I still can't figure out, how she managed to close the door on herself!
Another game was "Laying The Table" with things from our treasure drawer under the drawing chest. I've sculpted this and two other scenes in H e b r e w see below |
"In the middle we'll put this stone-heart, to let everyone know what a great joy it is to lay a table!" |
