"Den Seinen gibt's der Herr im Schlaf" - "He gives it to his friend while he's asleep"
2007_05_18 |
tune: Christa-Rachel Bat-Adam Berlin, Winter 1986-87 |
It
is in vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows. Yes, he gives his friend sleep! [meaning probably: "gives it to his friend while he's asleep"] |
The
blessing of YHWH, it makes rich, and it doesn't add sorrow with it. Yes, he gives his friend sleep |
Roll
on YHWH your doings, and your plannings shall be established. Yes, he gives his friend sleep. |
The song has the same intention
as the one, I already inserted Young's

Often Mika looks into the sky - spotting an El-Al airplane.
When she was smaller, she was sure that Abba was flying it.
Now her Abba was honored among "the excellent workers".
"Immanuel Rosenzweig, First Officer, Fleet (?) 77.
Volunteers continually in carrying out different projects of the fleet ,
investing much of his private time.
Is ready to help and assist in every quest."

The next afternoon, when the heat was bearable, Mika
wanted to meet those twins Noa
and Hadass again.
But on our way she remembered, that we had tried to meet them before and not
found the entry to their flat.
When I rang a bell in that house, a very unkind person cut off our quest for
the twins:
"I don't know whom you are talking about".
Still, Mika didn't want to admit her shyness
and as so often - found a way to distract me:
"Let's go to this playground first!"
When - at home - I was preparing our equipment,
she insisted that I take blanket and cushion with us.
And indeed, she found opportunities to use it.
At first I showed her a discarded broken rocking chair.
We made it lean on a bench, and she went "to sleep".
After sunset a group of religious youngsters came
into our "territory".
Mika always immensely enjoys watching other kids, whatever their age.
But it was becoming dark and we needed to go home.
